I disagree. It’s better to have an Apache on 11.7 than a Tiger UHT on 13.0. The Tiger is undoubtedly a better helicopter, but in terms of gameplay and setup creation, the Apache is better.
It is an add on kit requires software changes and it will be on all the Eurofighters being upgraded with AESA part of phase 4 enhancement
No other nation of the consortium said publicly they wanted to procure it tho. Technically it would be adaptable to every EF airframe but it doesn’t mean it should be added in game. Above that, the integration is planned for 2028 so why even bothering on this ?
It is literally part of phase 4 enhancement (Which comes with the radar upgrade)

Errr i don’t think having 20° worse gimbal on yoyr already insane radar requires you to must only have a modification that increases ITR by like 20%
I didn’t say the opposite, I’m just saying that the only official procurement order we have is from the Luftwaffe and isn’t gonna be introduced into active service before 2028.

How the planes that are being added this update don’t exist
They are Tranche 2 with the new radars which aren’t even the ones that are flying with it now as they are Tranche 3s
The bug report for AMK is for all nations anyway
That’s kind of the broader issue I have with the addition of the AESA EFTs. Having fictional top tiers shouldn’t be something we should accept. We should advocate for an actual implementation of the Tranche 3´s characteristics (at least the one that can be depicted in game).
Adding AMK to the EFTs would be cool as fuck and enjoyable to play but I just think it would be too much of a favor treatment to give them something that won’t be mass procured before 2 or 4 years IRL.

I personally think this argument was poised by the addition of the AMK, because now the argument has gone from “The MK1 has the same fov as the MK0 and MK2” to “give German ef amk because we want retribution” while the amk is cool, I believe it should be saved for later and given for all nations, as none have it operational yet.

The argument should be that the ECRS MK1 has the same fov as the MK0 and MK2, with the MK0 being developed by hendsolt as well as the MK1, and the MK1 being shown with the MK0 and MK2 multiple times without any mention of a different FoR by Airbus. If anything, hendsolt is probably limited either by German advertising laws making them state the max FoR with the specified range, or the german gov yet again blocked them mentioning it, despite the fact every other gov allows their manufacturer to show it off. Gaijin is just using this excuse that the website says 90± in order to artificially separate the german eurofighter from the Italian and British Eurofighters while giving it the Pirate. I would much rather remove the pirate or make it a modification then take this false FoR

Someone already sent an email to ask for enlightenment on the subject, let’s hope Hendsolt is gonna be willing to give that kind of information (which is pretty unlikely unfortunately).
Is it worth waiting for the German EF to be given 200FoV or AMK? It seems to me that the only thing that was missing was for a representative of Hendsolt to visit the forum himself and provide documentation.

Well I play multiple nations. I can afford to ignore German tech tree and get it later. Most people do not have this option. I will be exping it leisurely, not grinding It or “Going after It”. I will just play Su-30SM2 and Wait. It is disappointing, like I am not even angry or upset, but rather sad.

Just most nations a 1-3 years behind Germany at the moment in terms of upgrading to the P4E standard.
and there are other modifications being considered as well, like the RAF is exploring massively increasing CM load to 300 standard or 150 large internal CMs. Especially valuable for the extra Britecloud that can be carried
There is also Striker II, again, not officially a part of any upgrade but probably going to be standard equipment for most nations once its ready.
But AMK is a significant upgrade, it would be stupid to add it to just a single nation in a game like war thunder.
