Support Brigade Nord’s departments in the areas of mobility (getting the forces forward, regardless of obstacles), anti-mobility (preventing the enemy from advancing) and survival (CBRN protection, building cover rooms and firing positions). The battalion provides engineering support to infantry/cavalry and it holds the brigade’s resources in bridge, ferry, diver and boat service, CBRN and mechanical work.
