The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Tusk Force”! — 17.09.2025

im so hyped to just go up on a crest in a RAM 1 and just watch all the shells plink off me because nobods knows where the hell to shoot that ugly creature

I haven’t been on the dev server, but I’ve seen datamines saying that the SRAAM (apart from the massive range and TVC buff) also lost a third of its thrust and received overload and AoA limits. Does this noticeably affect its short range (~1 km) performance?

they should just add a button to swap from IR to SAL mode or allow for both to be used together, so you can have the best of both worlds with the full 16 missile of the same type loadout

Not that I overly felt

Did have this on the dev server

But I was also kinda slow as well… So its tricky to know if it was the missiles fault or my fault

I’ve seen a few other clips of it spinning out at times, including when not in off-boresight

such as:

but there are reports in already for maybe some adjustments

Im gunna keep an eye out and submit a report for anything that looks wierd.

I did a lot of screwing with them in test flights to find the limits. the only change i can really say to ultra close firings is that you cant shoot a plane down from beside you anymore. youre still firing the best turning dogfight missile in game but tone down the stupid launches we all enjoyed before

playing a hunter that slow, you would already have died to the swarms of swiss hunters.

Yeah, unrealistic in ARB usually, but not necessarily uncommon in the more 1v1 - ISH environment of SB. Though a perfect time where I’d want to use an SRAAM to end the gunfight fast

My condolences @karnitin75

But how did it come to this? Does your role as a suggestion mod hold no weight?

IRL they swing the turret forward over a hatch, a bloke flips the barrel vertically, shoves a round in, flips it back and locks it in place before closing the hatch again, all from largely under armour

Sraam being buffed low key might push the harrier and the f6 back to 10.0

Thanks for your condolences.

My job is mainly to manage suggestions and moderation connected to suggestions. I don’t really decide what the developers do after we hand em over. Its ultimetly their choice

Come on give the update. I need it more than I originally thought I would.

I want to play the Oplot-T, AH-64E, F-16I and T58!

when will the update be implemented?

Any chance Ground vehicle BRs will go up to match Air vehicle BRs? (And you know… raise both up more) It makes no sense to attempt to decompress one and not the other, especially when you’re just compressing them again in ground battles…

Its actually based on a Krupp pattern sold to them.
" 4cm Flak 28 (Bofors) L/60

This weapon was originally a 1924 Krupp development. The Reichswehr was not interested, and the gun was sold to Sweden."

But yeah it should be fixed, along the 20mm Bofors.

Huh- Neat, Werent krupp apart of bofors or had shares in it-?

Yes some 1/3 iirc. Which then (Bofors) continued development into the classic Bofors L/60.

How would this work in the first place?

I activate a target point on an aircraft using a targeting pod, the T220 found on the Su-30SM in this case, but the guided bombs such as the Grom-2 guide towards the CCRP on the ground not the target point locked onto the aircraft.

It’s written badly. What they seem to be saying is that if you activate a target point behind you, the missile will engage a horizontal turn to begin an approach, from our testing. E.g. static target behind you, launch, missile begins turning and once turned around begins to loft or dive.

I see, thank you.

This is the part that got me confused.

Its stating that its your aircrafts target, not aircraft AS a target.
