You could shoot a plane down with it. But it is intended for ICBMs and hypersonic ordnance.
It would not be ideal for the game as the erectors from memory carry 2 missiles a piece. It isn’t unfit for the task IRL, but in game, bit dubious. Though I could be wrong on this front, I’m not too familiar with it outside of just being in passing.
They’re making it harder in realistic, for the most part.

The F-5TH with 2 Derby + 2 Python 3 is NOT sufficient for the 13.3 BR.
Kfir. C10 with 4 Derby, Mirage is an excellent performance platform, AESA Radar, A lot of Countermeasures is at 13.0 BR.
F-16A with 6 AIM-120A as well at 13.3 BR.
At most this F-5TH deserves 13.0 BR. Even then it would be bad because of its performance.
Because of the number of missiles and performance it should be at 12.7 BR.
That would make it competitive enough with the number of its weaponry because of the very bad performance at that BR of 12.7.
If this 13.3 BR stays it will be facing Typhoons and Rafales.
Even at 12.7 BR it will face F-15C which is crazy to think about as well.
Like to mention the German Mig-29 at 13.0 BR. I would rather take that at lower BR because performance is better and you have respectively better missiles. The most modern Mig-29 SMT we have is the SAME 13.3 BR. Mind blowing of them putting this at 13.3 BR.
If they reduced it to 13.0 BR it would still not be enough, it needs to go down at least to 12.7 but even there is pretty average but i suppose its okay to have average.
honestly wild its at 13.3 rn, if it had 4 derbys then it would belong at 13.0, still not at 13.3 though
The “Rising Sun” is a naval ensign, not the national flag. This is why only the boats will continue to use the ensign in game.

The only thing i see good about this plane is that:
It is 12.3 BR at ground and its CAS is good.
You can make a Loadout of:
LITENING III
2x Python-3
2x Derby
2x AGM-65D ( OR 4x AGM-65D if you remove “2x Derby”)
So if you queue with the new OPLOT, TKX, Type 81C and Apache, if you also bring this as CAS.
Your BR will be 12.3 so you wont face any F-16C, F-15C, Su-34, Su-30SM, Rafale, Typhoon.
You can carry AIM-9Ms on the wingtips in lieu of python 3s
7.0, even 6.0 is much too high. The reason things like the bandkanon and the M109 are as high as they are is because of things like reload speed, gun handling, proxy fuzes, and chassis mobility. The M55 is not 7.0 worthy because it has a 40 second reload stock (30 second ace), with okay mobility and little armor. The KV-2 is a heavy tank that still sits at 3.7 with a lower reload (that recently got buffed), and sure, its strong, but its far from 7.0 worthy. The only things the M55 has over the KV-2 is its slightly lower profile, a roof .50 cal, and around 20 mm more of penetration. Does each of those things warrant a +1.0 BR change each?
Extremely disappointed in the CF18 being a premium.
M44 is easy mode with much faster reload. M55’s only advantage is a tiny buff in pen but a massive nerf in reload. It’s basically like pre-buff KV-2
Would have been more sensible for ours (Aus) to be, as we could have had TT representation of Australian and Canadian hornets.
