IR guidance would defeat its entire purpose

yeah, MCLOS will give you ability to yeet it frontally at a bomber or fighter, instead of trying to get rear aspect in an F-8 for crying out loud.

it is done, X-4 is how it suppose to be. No proxy fuse it seems as well (or i just suck at guiding MCLOS weaponry)

Hope it gets back some sort of Proxy, as it had IRL aparently.

Its the latter.
It has a proximity fuze, and its quite generous.

Have you tested it on Tanks? Im still at work.
Or does it also fuze too early on them?

Even lowering the number required, from 7 to 5, say, would still be doable here without breaking anything.

The X-4 is gonna be a monster against SPAA, proxy or not :-)

I just dont have CAS at all. If I even bother with the sky sabre. It might be the only thing in the lineup

Funny to said that when the F-8 is one of three the best Fw-190 with BMW engine you can fly alongside the A-1 and A-5/U2

should have 8m radius Proxy and no Impact fuse

imo the best overall

performance as a fighter is solid because of it’s relatively light airframe with 2 fewer guns than most and the Ordenance is generally outstanding, better than every other German plane in prop age

it’s just simply the best allrounder imo

it can go drop some SC1000s, take some MK103 anti everything guns or fight fighters perfectly fine

and now jt even gets X-4 Bomber killers

It does work on light tanks
I managed to nail a T-70 in the test flight map with it, but that’s about it
The missile is about as maneuvrable as a fridge with fins loosely glued to it, it’s frankly a pain to use

Currently backups are modelled as part of main systems so they just make it easier to break. Im all for redoing the models if it gets rid of that bs

yeah and no against other fighters you need a 3k Ft alt advantage its really only a BNZ plame

The announced changes to Spawn Point (SP) calculations remain unimplemented on the DEV server. Current testing reveals that the SP cost multiplier still follows the legacy class-based system (separate calculations for fighters and attackers), contradicting the proposed loadout-dependent mechanism.

In DEV server, for example, when spawning a bomb-equipped A2D (attacker) and subsequently exiting the aircraft (J-out), the SP cost for an F-80 (fighter) with bombs does not double as the new rules would require. And the SP costs for respawning a2d remain unchanged (more than 1000sp) when bomb loadout are removed.
