The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Tusk Force”! — 05.09.2025 (Dev Server is closed)

Dev server has had an update, they implemented one of my reports on the T58 in regard to T152, it has a more usable shell velocity of 563 m/s now.

T152 updated statcard

They updated the projectile mass, explosive mass and shell velocity as per what I reported, the only thing they missed was renaming the shell to T152E5 which is what the shell represents in game now. There were at least 7 versions of T152 up to at least T152E6, so the differentiation would have been useful.

Aw and I was gonna buy the T58 because it could be used for indirect fire

Guess it’s not worth it anymore

KGGB!

Would have been nice to allow for 16 JAGM-MR (SAL) , that way you can equip 8 IR and 8 SAL , at the cost of A-A missiles. Would have been a sweet trade.

btw, why can’t Thai OCU mount 8 Mavericks? And also still using ATLIS II.

Thoughts on the next update changelog:

Wyvern S.4 — the mass of the aircraft’s engine has been increased from 900 kg to 1350 kg.
P-47 (all variants) — an automatic flap retraction and locking system based on flight speed has been added.
A-20 (all variants) — an automatic flap retraction and deployment system based on flight speed has been added.
Yer-2 (all variants) — the flight model has been updated, making takeoff easier. Handling has been improved for all control types. Engine thermodynamics have been adjusted (engines now overheat more slowly).
MS-405 (all variants) — additional flap positions (combat and takeoff) have been added.
Potez 630, Potez 631, Potez 633 — flap control has been changed to a pneumatic system. The aircraft now only has two flap positions: “retracted” and “landing”. The maximum allowed speed of the aircraft has been decreased from 710 km/h to 462 km/h.

Bunch of subtle nerfs and buffs in there.

DB-3A, DB-3B — additional 50 kg and 100 kg bombs on the DER-31 underwing pylons have been added. BRAB-220, BRAB-500 and BRAB-1000 armor-piercing bombs have been added.
Tu-2 — RS-132 and RBS-132 rockets have been added.
Su-2 (M-82), Su-2 TSS-1, Su-2 MV-5, BB-1 — RS-82 and RS-132 rockets have been added.
MB-175T — engine fire extinguishing system has been added

Bunch of Russian respades, check (plus one each for FR and CH)

The ability to switch between firing main guns only and firing main and auxiliary guns together during battle has been added… Good QOL naval change

The minimum requirements for receiving the “Heavy Metal Hero” match award… Not a huge one, but still a rewards nerf, to ground and naval RB. Plus it’s a real hit to anyone on this BP who hasn’t got to level 60 yet to bring this in now. Closes the loophole bug where you could get TotS and TotO in the same match in naval too.

A new option called “Block messages from chat offenders” has been added to the “Chat and Voice Chat” settings. When this setting is enabled, messages in all game chats from offending players will be replaced by a system message: (“Message blocked due to user’s chat reputation”). In this context, “offenders” are players who have received a sufficient number of chat-related complaints over the last 30 days . Really interested to see how this works out

The rules for calculating the Spawn Point (SP) cost for spawning a second or subsequent aircraft in Ground Realistic and Naval Battles have been changed… This new rule is going to change every one of my GRB/NB lineups, but on balance I think it could be a good change to the game

For aircraft with torpedoes, the ability to select the torpedo running depth between 1 meter and 4 meters has been added. I like this change too

MTB-460 — operator has been corrected from Great Britain to Canada. Thank you Gaijin. Now do Prendergast’s Spitfire (especially since we now have a RNorAF squadron Mosquito being put in the Swedish/Norwegian tree, which is exactly analogous to having a Canadian operator flag on that Spitfire) (bug report link if you want to pile on on that one here)

You know they adjust reload rates and withhold certain ammunition and armaments for balance purposes.

Getting rid of the APDS belt on the Falcon to keep its BR lower wouldn’t be any different than not giving certain MBTs their best rounds.

I can’t see how that would provide a SPAA between 5.7 and 8.0.

But it will be so unfun surviving a shot where an APHE shell penetrated the edge of your cupola instead of having it kill all the turret and hull crew! /s

Ah, yes, that would be a possibility to be sure if it was meant to be exclusively an anti-air; but if it’s meant to be a general purpose vehicle, then I guess it can just go as high as it’s necessary.

That being said, I just saw it’s currently sitting at 8.3, like the Gepards, except with no radar or electronics at all… so it appears to be in an awkward balancing position.

The RP cost also didn’t get split
Old mod was 49k RP
You would think that the new modifications would be somewhere along the lines of 20k+29k RP for SAL and IR respectively.
Nope , its actually 15k+49K RP for SAL and IR

The APDS isn’t the problem with the falcon, the APHE is

The Falcon was always meant to be a SPAA…

Overperforming APHE is indeed a problem with every SPAA equipped with it, because they are basically automatic nuke launchers.

Every day I see more and more SPAAs first-spawning as frontline Tank Destroyers…

Ah, if only there had been an opportunity to address this issue.

That being said, it seems at least they are adjusting overpressure for lower yeld projectiles on the next update, I supposse that should help.

But you don’t understand, if the people voted to fix it, the conqueror would be playable 😿

Please improve brenus.

The brenus era is missing it’s correct protection against KE and CE munitions:

The possibility to fire apds or maybe even apfsds projectiles from the 20mm autocannon:

If it was fixed, the 279 wouldn’t consistenty die to gepards and we can’t have that!!! That would make the 279 enjoyable!!!

German tanks also wouldn’t get nuked when shot in the cupola

i mean object279 is dogwater compared to back then, from surviving 2000kgs on your face to die to a 250lb bomb thats not even near you

you can see the bomb craters below my tank (one of my squad mates took it during SQB)

and now it dies even from a slightest touch of any HE slinger
