The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Tusk Force”! — 05.09.2025 (Dev Server is closed)

💕🐌💕🐌💕🐌💕🐌

when will reported bugs from this dev get fixed? Fox suspension changes are completley broken and an armour change to CVRTs is still a bit incorrect.

i have reported them but im concerned it will be ignored

Will we be seeing the british AH-64E being implemented during this update? or will it be for another

I got this particular source from the Finnish Anti-Aircraft museum having seen it listed in their archive. So far I’ve submitted two Hispano-Suiza and one Vickers source to the company in an effort to depict Falcon more accurately and have relied on the help of Gaijin staff to do so. Two out of the three reports passed so far were created internally, and others are still pending.

I hope to see more improvements to Falcon in future including;

  • LRF, as advertised by Vickers
  • Tracking
  • Corrected ammo and removal of APDS
  • Corrections to the powertrain

The Auto-Follow turret included a search and track radar, but rumour is that the MoD was (as usual) too cheap to shell out for it.

likely for another, gaijin typically likes to give the big shinies to the main nations first (with some exceptions), then the patch after they add it to other nations

Big ups for putting in that work

Whatever the case may be for that radar, any kind of further buff to making the Falcon more effective in the SPAA role is welcome as Gaijin insists on keeping it at 8.3 (or even 8.7 with the coming buffs).

While I would prefer to see it getting nerfed so it can return to a lower BR, I don’t think that would ever happen, so improvements are the way to go

Ooooo I see, I guess I might be lucky to have some extra time to grind my way up for it

Top tier plane GRB BRs have to get raised first. The BRs of all these SPAAs/SAMs are so low because the BRs for planes are squished down to fit into the top GRB bracket.

This BR squish was a major mistake by Gaijin and still needs to be addressed properly. Until then the weaker top tier CAS is going to have to suffer.

As for the range and performance of the new anti air systems, you can thank all those lunatics that were pushing for stronger CAS all the time. The CAS vs SPAA arms race truely improved the top tier experience lmao

Ka-52M when?

Probably not too far off, I’d give it within the next two updates. Since it’s one of the final helicopters it may take time for being added in

I can’t say I understand Gaijin’s absolute of these two planes. First they drag them up in BR with the promise of a forward air spawn in Air RB. Even after they said they weren’t going to becauzd they were already under performing efficiency-wise at their current BR. Then they get denied said forward air spawn. Now they’re getting internal modules that Im willing to bet one errant .50 cal or .50 cal adjacent round will knock about 93.7% of its functionality out.

I can see these changes going well if it weren’t for the fact the Falcon absolutely does not need these buffs at the moment…
Perhaps taking action in regards to nerfing how effective autocannon apds and aphe are should come first. Maybe even ditching the apds on the Falcon entirely. (whos’ idea was it for an anti air to get ifv apds in the first place)

It’s too late for the Falcon. They could have removed the APDS and nerfed the APHE rounds a long time ago, but instead of doing so they kept raising its BR.

Now that it’s at a BR where it isn’t useful as a SPAA anymore it might as well get as many buffs as realistically possible.

@Stona_WT Can you respond to this? Do you want the WT forum to be the largest political and ideological forum on the global internet?

10km against ground, 20km against target. So far unheard situation, as IR/TV seekers ground lock (POINT) outranged considerably target (TRACK) lock.

And video of local clickbait youtuber shows it has no issues getting lock past 10km

I think you guys fail to realise most weak points for tanks are like 100-300mm. I’m consistently one shotting 12.0 MBTs with the Type 16’s round (400mm~ of penetration).

L23 on the chieftain mk10 is enough to easily kill every top tier tank lets be real

That’s using ground lock.

War Thunder uses a standard 10km TRACK range for all IR AGMs and guided bombs (except for the AShMs)

Its a 20km base value, but for tank sized targets, its about half the base value

This isn’t WoT- these aren’t “buffs” or “nerfs” that are done arbitrarily depending on a vehicle’s needs or ngl- they are historical corrections.

Regarding APHE, the community was given the chance to vote for a fix but it was rejected.

Regarding APDS; whose’s idea was it…? Well, those who did in real life :P

knowing weakspots requires the ability to learn, which some people do lack.
