Where in the provided document does it state that it can reach Mach 2.5+ in vertical launch?
Spoiler

Yeah that’s the VL naval version that at that time wasn’t even finished and seems to be a different system:

The Eurofighter gets 10 missiles, doesn’t it?
The F-15C GE also is going to have to give up at least 2 (or is it actually 3?) ARHs to be able to carry Sidewinders when this update drops
Not a different missile. The system mentioned here is the equipment necessary for the VL. MICA VL from the very start was planned to use air to air MICA. I’ll include the evidence of that into the report though.
Guess no one is buying it. Time to nerf.
Decompression doesn’t make money so it will not be real. This game would be so easy to balance if they actually gave a dame. Truth of decompression is the fact people always want to feel they have the superior high ground when in reality it could easily be balance with BRs alone.
I do recommend adding that as well yes.
Something that does confuse me though is why there are different weights listed for one of the VL versions and why the ground launched version would have 1 extra km of altitude compared to the naval version:
Air launched:

Ground VL:

Naval VL:

They just don’t want to risk increasing queue times. That’s the main reason why they don’t work on decompression.
It’s not the first time that MBDA has been inconsistent like that. Notice how in your screenshot it says 33,000 feet altitude for ground VL, but then look at this:
Increasing queue times is the biggest joke I’ve ever heard. This game is popular enough it doesn’t struggle with that.
Decompression = frustration. Downtier players are jerking themselves off, uptiers players are on forums. One nation gets unrealistic tanks another gets realistic models. One jet from your grandpap WW2 is going up against your dads jet wagon. If they really cared about balance and everything they would at minimum stop modification grinding for things that realistically come with the tank.
profits > balance > realism
Leave the realism aspect out of there.
That train has left a loooooong time ago and the people that keep asking for historical matchmaking are gonna be hit with an even more unbalanced game than what they are playing right now.
Decompression is never going to get rid of modern vehicles fighting older vehicles.
As for the profits, premiums don’t need to be more powerful than other vehicles to sell.
They wouldn’t, even if they cared about balance above all else. They depend on the grind being annoying to get more people to buy premium vehicles, premium time and boosters.
Sorry, I’m not for historical matchmaking one but when they balance. It’s usually 1. Modifications dictate the BR at fully spaded. 2. Nations that need a boost get broken vehicles till nerfs come in. 3. Why the fk is top tier CAS still needing to unlock chaff?
Premium’s are being released at BRs they shouldn’t and new tech trees being released at BRs that need decompression
Is the ASM-3 in-game a a mix of the prototype XASM-3 and production variant ASM-3A ?
They could do this without reducing the module grind. Just give vehicles worse versions of features as stock instead of completely locking built-in features behind module unlocks. That’s already the case for fire extinguishers.
it’s vise versa. 120s are still longest range missiles especially combined with platforms they are mounted on, but now they turn like or almost like r-77s. 77s get more pull but who cares if it was enough already, yet seeker gimbal limit doesn’t allow it to pull. so basically 120D will be kind of 77-1 competitor whereas 120A/B will replace and outclass 77 as seal clubber, since it arrives at 13.0, not 13.3
It was a small example but most suffer from this already. From what I’ve read at one point you had NO fire extinguishers unless it was unlocked so you had to literally wait and die cooking because of one module the game implemented. Don’t get me started on nations carry HEAT rounds at BR 12. Same pain as no chaff at top tier AIR.
Yes, why would it not work like that? As cool as dynamic BRs would be, that’s something that would be extremely hard to balance.
You’ll have to give me examples for that.
Because almost all planes (and helicopters) have to unlock chaff. The only exceptions are vehicles that have integrated chaff-only countermeasure dispensers (B-52, Tu-95, AH-1F/S, F-35 and probably some more that I am missing).
That has nothing to do with compression/decompression, they would still do that, if there was less compression.
You’ll have to explain what you mean by that.
there are tanks and aircraft when fully spaded that are just down right broken. Plenty of streamers share that online already if you want to look. It would not be if they actually DECOMPRESSED BRs
I will not, you can google Gajins track record of “release vehicles” vs where they are now. What I will say is, it’s not only Russia before people cry about that.
So tanks released at BR 12 or even 13 never heard of a laser range finder in open and big maps? Aircraft realizing hispanos were better than the garbage they had originally still need to suffer from terrible guns?
The point from this is Compression = Frustration = profits > balance > realism
The point from this is Compression = Frustration = profits > balance > realism
The point from this is Compression = Frustration = profits > balance > realism
It makes me sad, as Booker exists and its miles better
