The F-102 will likely be getting AIM-26Bs which would actually be pretty good for the BR (a bit more range, proxy fuse, and good maneuverability). It will also be getting SUU-11 gunpods. They are actually already on the plane if you take it for a test drive and drop the fuel tanks, but they don’t fire yet. It is also likely to get the current falcons it has swapped out for earlier models, which for the purposes of War Thunder, are actually better (faster and a bit more range).

if its gets only AIM-26B it should stay at 9.0 as it can carry only 2 of them.id it gets the gun pods and AIM-26B i guess it will be 9.3 as it is a slower F=106 with better missiles and a worst gun. But the guy above said that it should go 10.0-10.3 with just 6 AIM-4s
Is it not able to carry the AIM-4s in the smaller side bays while carrying AIM-26s in the larger center bay?
Also yes it does not belong at 10.0 even if it could carry 2 AIM-26 + 4 AIM-4 + gunpods.
no i thing the loadouts options were either AIM-26B or AIM-4C (irl). For me the obvious solution is to give it AIM-26A

What exactly would those rounds change?
There is no point in having extended range rounds in WT, as the maps are too small and the guidance wouldn’t work unless the artillery is used in its intended way

Firecrest having its rounds per gun cut to 150 rpg is an assumption based on a single data page, there are two data sheets on S.28/43 in the document and in the fighter role, the max shown is 190 rpg.

It can. The rocket tubes on the weapon bay doors were omitted and some small bulges were made to fit the fins, but the missile total is unchanged. Two AIM-26s and four AIM-4s.

The technical incompatibility is in the fire control system, which groups the missiles in forward and rear positions. So for example you couldn’t put two radar missiles and an IR missile in front, they had to be either 3 aim-4a’s (radar), 3 aim-4c’s(IR) or a single Aim-26a/b - and you can only put one of the later because it won’t fit through the side doors. Of course, the same applies to the rear.
Now the planes could carry any combination of missiles, but there wasn’t the budget to upgrade the whole fleet to allow the fcs to prepare each missile launcher independently.
i gurantee you that spike is not only worse or equal damage, but ten times slower. It is as slow as the L-UMTAS on the turkish t129 which is horrid.

honestly spikes are so trash that i usually will use the agm114b (italy is literally the only nation that still has og hellfires when every other heli gets 114k), and even the 114b can perform better, especially against pantsirs as they are much faster.

Its either on the J-8B or the J-8F. Its the copy of the aspide-1a. If you can only find aspide-1a on J-8B or J-8F then this is a typo
the J-8B is using ASPIDE
and the J-8F uses PL-12 only as radar missile
