Hi, I’m not sure where to post this or really how to explain this, but there seems to be a bug with the Dover Strait map on the dev server? For some reason, the sky gets much darker/begins much darker than all other maps in the game. At mid-day and with clear skies, we’re seeing stars at about 12,000ft and in terms of the darkness/colours of the sky (not altitude), we’re visually almost in space at just 20,000ft. If someone else could confirm this then please do, could be just my client.

why so? its 900bhp / 912ps irl, and it is in game, Transmission is also just a modified TN12 so the gear ratios are correct
Is it really only Britain that will be getting SPGs? Disappointed but not surprised the AS-90 is being added before say the Palmaria, TAM VCA, M109L, M109A3G, M109A3GN, M109A6, hell even the Italian PzH.

Why is Russia getting yet another, even more powerful, SPAA when other nations still have sizable gaps in their tree? Russia really needed a 12.7 filler for the 12.0 to 12.7 gap? Was this at the request of P-Dawg himself because I cant see how you guys logically came to the idea “Well…time to give the nation stacked with SPAA more SPAA.”
Surely there’s going to be a stealth drop for the Patriot system or HARMs this update to have some counter to it.

As explained already by BVV on the dev stream, the Buk is one of the worst performing top SPAAs currently statistically. So this vehicle is being added to improve that situation.
its a Russian missile so 40km means its lethal for all 40km not a nato missile thats sub mc 2 at only half its range.

None of these stats represent official figures. This response was from BVV himself from the dev stream.
- Add MANPADS to some random boat model and x-ray
- Skip ahead several years doing absolutely nothing about it
- Add the exact same MANPADS which actually works to a german boat
- Delete it from the original boat
- ???

japan has 3
and russia has 7 now?

Some nations naturally have more variants and options than others. Not all are equal in terms of the number of choices IRL. But this was not added “instead of” an SPAA for another nation.
Stats we can’t see and just have to trust you on? One of the only SPAA systems that can operate without the base radar unit (giving it higher survivability too) and it performs worse than those that can’t?

But not adding it could also count as balance across the nations is also an option. Or giving the nations that lack that amount of variety the tools and weapons they made to counter AA defenses is also an option. Like HARMs are wildly late to the game now.

This doesn’t improve anything for anyone.
This does not solve a problem of an existing SPAA not performing, but actually makes it even worse.

no, we add another spaa to russia.

there are countless suggestions for top tier spaas for israel and japan.
the point of the tech trees is to add vehicles based on need. not availability.
just because you can doesnt mean you should.
