Japan had the T-2 early situation and I think some other nations too in the past. Its not exclusive to China atm

Maybe because they are entirely different aircrafts? JH-7A is a dedicated strike aircraft while Su-30MKK is a multirole heavy fighter. Not to mention them being a whole BR range apart

However, if I don’t spend money to purchase the Su-30MKK, I won’t be able to use an aircraft equipped with more than 4 KH-29 missiles.It’s truly frustrating that there isn’t another Su-30 on the Chinese tech tree.

This was pretty much obvious tho.

Germany followed similiar suit - two strike plane premiums before ASF/multirole premium. I called this back when people were getting worked out about JH-7 proto.

To be fair, it’s not just “buyer’s regret”.

Gaijin released a full price product, only to 4 weeks later release one which is WAY better for the same price, in the same Rank and nation.

I would feel scammed too. (For the record, I am NOT claiming that it’s a scam. Just talking about feelings.)
