ummm you also have this bug, my missile goes to do life after launch but in the end they hit the target (little tip to hit the drones at 10 km lock the missile on an allied recon drone so that the missile is activated and locked then change target the missile will remain active even on a drone at 10 km while the FB 10A locks them at 4.5 km normally)
problem solved I just did the small update, I just played under version 0.47 while the servers had gone to 0.48. the FB10A has just received the IOG + DL

A hit i got last game on a landing rafale.
The missile wastes so much energy lofting, it flew 16.5km in 45 seconds… and the actual distance to the target is 15km
It can’t even reach 18km if the target is moving

CS/SA-5 is good at 12.0 so yes it is suited
It needs more ammo. 800 is too little and ridiculous for a turret that is unmanned. Pantsir & Tunguska both have 30mm and carry like nearly 2k rounds each. Their turrets are similar in size too.
Yes. This thing needs way more rounds. There isn’t even 5 sec of fire.
I see a lot of the “it needs this it needs that” what do we know about the vehicle? Can it carry all of this stuff that it needs? Or does it only carry 800 rounds? and 20G missiles? It is hard to buff the vehicle when it doesn’t exactly have better options available to it. Not saying it doesn’t, maybe it does- but a lot of what is being said sounds like pure wants and not real-life requests
imo the only thing atm that needs to be changed is the lofting of the missile.
It lofts like an ATGM, where it always wants to hit the target with a top-down attack, instead of maximizing range and/or conserving energy.
but how would you report that? We would need a video of the missile being fired but afaik there are none, or just none that I could find.
besides that the SPAA is good (in my personal opinion).
tbh that’s gaijin fault for picking a vehicle from 2022 in service with the PLA, there were better options with more info available to them like Yitian II with its 20 km missiles or they could have added the CS-SA5 early which is the same gun but with the HN-6 missiles(the same ones on the PGZ04A) and send it to 10.3 to replace the shitty Antelope(I’m sorry but there’s no other way of describing it) in the mean time while more info was collected about the FB missile, but they decided to add a 3 year old vehicle with all of its info classified, I agree though people complaining about it are just throwing requests in the table instead of proper documentation that they probably can’t even find to begin with. Its almost looks like it was on purpose adding a vehicle with barely any info on it instead for opting for older equipment with more info on them
this was actually one of the few reports accepted on the sa5, started out with 500 rounds on dev but got pushed to 800 after full documentation was shown on the cartridges
