The Charioteer's gun depression

So, I found these photos of the Charioteer and was trying to compare them to the one in game. Is it just me, or does the gun depression look like its more like 6-8 degrees instead of 5?

It’s not a valid comparison when the camera angle is not even lined up the same in your image, nor is the turret turned the same

I think the pictures prove the OP to be correct .There isnt much in it but it tiny number matter to Gaijin then the OP is is right.

Idk, the gun seems to be depressed at around the level of the hull.

The -5° gun depression seem odd to begin with. It’s not like the the turret is particular flat or the gun mounted particular high.

It seems that the -5° might come from an early turret design or maybe it was just over the engine.
Then the height of the turret was raised to allow for greater depression.
The guy claims -12° but that could just be a mix-up with other vehicles.

In the photo it’s roughly -5° but I don’t see why that should be the limit before the gun hits the turret roof.

Also what’s up with the low ammunition count?
25 rounds? There’s not even ammo where the hull radio operator / MG gunner used to sit.

On the Firefly when they removed the second guy from the hull they used it as ammo storage, so why would it just be empty on the Charioteer?
Seems a bit odd.

Maybe the ammo count is correct but most of it should be besides the driver.

There’s definitely also a radio missing from the turret.

the breech is far too small in game

Though -5° seems to be correct. I don’t see how the gun would be able to move down any further from there. And in the picture the gun seems to be elevated almost 10°.

It also has a turret baseket. So the ammunition storage in the game can’t be right.

They probably had 5 rounds in the turret and 20 next to the driver.

another thing is that the turret base is extended too far back in the game and that’s why the gun appears to be closer to the hull in real life when rotated backwards

Seems like there is a lot wrong with the tank in the game.

The Commander/Gunner is modeled standing, while the loader is sitting, yet on his side are the gun controls.

Would make the most sense if he was standing to load the gun and could reach rounds from a potential ammo rack in front of him, besides the driver, just like in the Centurion.
