Except you have things like the T-72B3 with APS at a lower BR than the T-72B3 without. So Im hardpressed to understand why the BN is so much higher

Reasonable to assume the T-72B3 = T-72B3.
and going by the wiki, they are identical in every other respect (Same armour, same mobility, same optics, same shell, same fire rate) so its a reasonable assumption
So if that is wrong fine.
But still
If CR2 to CR2 with APS = +1.0 BR because it has APS.
Then surely the same should apply for everything else with APS
If that isnt the case universally, then there is no excuse for the CR2 BN to be 12.7
Worse armor and Mobility, the Event Arena has the T-72B engine (840hp one), not the B3 UBH one, alongside not getting the side relict bags from the tt B3
It’s one of the few tanks ingame where having an APS didn’t tax it’s BR into oblivion, unlike it’s formerly 12.3 tech tree counterpart
Then the wiki is wrong I take it.
But still. The fact it doesnt get the APS tax is something of note. Any other tree and it would at least be the same BR, if not 0.3 higher for simply having APS

Other APS can’t intercept APFSDS.
*If the firing tank is far enough away that the shell slows, which usually require the tank to be 800-1000m away at least, and it can only do 4 before running out.
So on 90% of maps, it does nothing, and even on the few longer range maps, its only a temporary thing, and thats assuming a spike slinger or a heli or something hasnt eaten all the charges already.
So hiding behind that like its some magical shield warranting a massive BR increase for what is underneath a fairly average 11.7, is a bit wierd
But does that mean anything with K5 ERA that can also block APFSDS should be moved up to 12.7?

You sure you didn’t accidentally look at the TT 12.0 T-72B3A thinking it was the 11.0 T-72B3 arena? Mistakes happen, just part of life.
Still waiting for the day that heavy Iron Fist is added to Israel, the country that made it.
Comparison doesnt show any of that and I couldnt be bothered to trawl through the wiki pages.
Going by that alone, if anything the Arena looks a little better being lighter, but fair the HP/T differences.
(HP/T probably should be a figure on that comparison tbh)
But still. Anything else they would be the same BR. Trading mobility for the APS. Not being a lower BR

There is an armor package upgrade that significantly increases the B3’s weight and horsepower, which doesn’t show up here.
Either way, it’s absurd to put the B3 at 11.3 anyway. None of them should be there. Not when they’re objectively better than the Merkava Mk.3.

Oh, thank god It’s invulnerable for only 4 shots. I can guarantee that if a similar APS were on a major nation mbt (and therefore appeared pretty often in matches), you and everyone else would be complaining nonstop about how broken and OP it is.

No need. The day they give it to Israel, they’re guaranteed to nerf it. And I don’t want to lose the current version of iron fist that just delete any APFSDS.
Do you realize that’s an advertized feature of Heavy Iron Fist? It’s not the same model on the Eitan, which is light decoupled.
A Merkava prototype uses the heavy one.
Only like 10% of the maps, which gaijin has been systematically making smaller/harder to snipe on.
Every other map, you might as well be in the base CR2 at 11.7.
All I’m gonna say is that if the CR2 is 11.7, the T-72B3 should go back to being an 11.7
Yep. Would help with compression too. Those things are annoying to face in 10.3s
They shouldn’t be the same BR as the Merkava 3. That BR change made me sick.
