I was flying my B52 bomber earlier and testing the new update and my teamate just love tapped me and my tail instantly fell off and tried it several times and Got the same results pls do something about That gaijin

It was a custom and we were testing the update because they said they made raming effective too effective

Yes bombers were made like 70% easier to kill from what I heard.
The bomber update made them ridiculously too survivable

Had a lot of fun during that time. Both hunting bombers and being hunted as one. I knew that it wouldn’t last because of how braindead this community is. The collective always decides to strip the game of all the fun in it. APHE, BVR and now this.
Were bombers unrealistically survivable? Yea, no shit. Were they oppressive and game breaking? In some cases with planes that shouldn’t have gotten this buff to begin with. The buff distribution needed to be changed, not the buff itself. Bombers are the most ineffective and miserable unit in any gamemode. It can barely influence the match and almost never brings a victory all by itself. I’d even omit the “almost”.
Oh your games became long? You know that it allows you to bring massive amounts of SL and RP back from the match right?
Oh they’re hard to down. Well, do you really need to in the first damn place? Have you tried using your brain? Any bomber will become a barely flying pasta strainer after a few belly strafes. And what if you’d hit a bomb?
I’ve got an ace with Bv.238 not that long ago. All because they kept coming from behind one by one. And then one came from the front, pitched up and stalled right behind me 50m up. He got bonnieblued on the spot. They all died because they deserved to. They all lost because they haven’t even tried.
Oh no, an immortal being is flying at 4km of altitude!! Well just leave him alone, go strafe some ground targets and win by a ticket bleed. Like ffs. It’s not like any of the heavy bombers can outturn you.
Wasn’t it fun having 2 bombers turnfight each other? Hell it was and I loved it.
Now gone forever.
Every nation got this buff, no biases here, just some questionable decisions like with tis ma or A-20G. My opinion is that planes with front facing weaponry (excluding turrets) shouldn’t have received this buff, but that’s it. Bomber on bomber violence is the largest amount of fun I had in a while in this game. Felt like an actually playable Naval RB.

The buff needed to be changed to a different system to model survivability more realistically. In the absence of that system, however, it was the next best thing. Now they’re back to being absolutely worthless, and an uninteresting target as well. Bombers were relatively easily disabled by shooting out control surfaces, but because it took a while for “Target destroyed” to pop up, folk sooked.
The current system won’t ever model resiliency accurately, especially with the tears of those who want easy wins.

How would you let an enemy tap your plane? The only ram attacks people realistically do are suicide attacks, and that is nothing to complain about
as was stated in a comment earlier in this thread, it was in a custom match to see just how much the plane to plane impact changes actually were

But it is a completely unrealistic test that would never be replicated in a real match. Either you don’t get hit my any collisions, and the change obviously is irrelevant, or you get slammed at 700kph, and the change makes you (rightfully) crumple
the point he was trying to make was its back to when a tap would kill you, so doing the whole mother ship thing isn’t gonna be playable anyore

Most braindead debuff ever, and it because people are genuinely dumb and can’t realize a bigger picture. This is genuinely why this game will never get better .
Eh, pretty similar if not identical to the “tests” performed then buff was rolled out - get into the test flight, park behind the formation of B-17s, unload into them and then go on forum to complain about it
I think its deserved considering the reaction of bomber mains when other people said that bomber survivability was tweaked too much the other way.
They didnt want to compromise, and here we are.

I just said something about the colisions that if tap the tail of a bomber is should just fall off Why yall hating remember that one incident whe the bf109 rammed a b17 in the tail section a didn’t get ripped off probably not yall ain’t history freeks like me
