Today, we celebrate the anniversary of the BO 105’s first flight which occurred on February 16th 1967.

So why is this thing the same or worse in every area but a HIGHER BR than the Israeli Tzefa B?

Both use ITOW and both have the AN/APR-39 RWR but the Tzefa B also gets 2 rocket pods and a nose turret to take along with them. Tzefa B: 9.0, Bo 105 CB-2: 9.3

Will there be a devblog today?

Thanks for correction.

Absolutely not no.

No.

maybe OK for “collectors” and fits into really good german 9.3 lineup, but very bad value for the $$$ Gaijin is asking …

premium Mi-24P is much better vehicle … higher rank so it can research rank7 without penalty, way better for heli PvE grinding, in random battles incomparably more versatile (rocket rush in early game, ATGM+AAM to deal with tanks or aircraft for later spawns) has gun + IR jammer + countermeasures without having to sacrifice ATGM launcher(s), and when bought during sales it is a significantly cheaper (4400GE vs 5900GE). And techtree PAH 1A1 has way more powerful missiles (although 6 vs 8).

with 50% discount it would still be inferior option but at least somewhat worth considering, with discount being 30% only it is better to wait for sales (unless you really really need premium helicopter right now) and you can buy premium Mi-24P + talisman for techtree BO105 PAH-1A1 and you’ll have two better vehicles + it’ll still be cheaper than premium Bo105

Great heli for the SIM bracket it’s in

I’d love to buy this if I could use it in air SIM. The current heli PVE mode is a pain.

tbh BO105s are all quite bad compared to others not only its missing weapons its also missing ability to mix flares with the missiles

its sucks that the 105s are missing tons of thier weapons and possible weapon loadouts

The heli is nearly useless in the PVE mode. It can’t really attack bases, it needs to get close (3.75 km) to kill tanks, which have then all been blasted by the (blue) enemy. And its guns have no real targets. Did I mention it is relatively slow.
For Heli-PVE, the Aluette is more fun!

I bought it for a 9.3 German line up I’m working on. In test flight mode it was more maneuverable than I thought it was going to be. That’s what sold me on it. I know TOWs aren’t great but I find them at least serviceable.

Too high BRs make all Bo-105 more or less too hard to play. There are helis at lower BRs with far better capabilities.
