I mistaken the T-84 in the vid to be the Thai one, therefore I thought the car beside it is another oplot. Pls don’t have Victim’s delusion

Just going to say this so confusion of this type doesn’t happen in the future, when you reply to someone with a clown emoji regardless where you place that emoji, it comes off as if you were calling them (the person you’re responding to) as a clown.

Apparently BM-Oplot P will be a Chinese squadron vehicle in this update. If this is the case then I am going to drop the Japan grind.

This thing has -4 gun depression, worse then the already very bad gun depression of T-90A which is -4.5. lmao
And they never used or even tested the damn thing.

They did test it in 2015. There was also a delegation that went to Kharkiv to discuss the Oplot. It seemed likely they were gonna purchase them but they instead went for Chinese tanks.

The battle for correcting the armour rages on in the bug report system. I expect this will be labeled not a bug like the last 50 reports.
Maybe now that it’s being added to China, the Chinese players will complain about its missing armour and force gaijin to fix it XD.
I also just realized that it cannot be raised to 12.7 anymore since it’s being added as a squadron vehicle. Maybe gaijin deliberately is keeping the armour missing despite all evidence pointing otherwise so they can keep it at 12.3 and add it as a squadron tank to China. The (O)plot thickens…

Imo, a 50mm plate and era buff won’t necessarily make it a 12.7, rather it will secure its place at 12.3.

Pointed out that the only way to get ingame ERA protection of 280 is to use Nizh-1M(HKChPWS)(different ERA produced not by original manufacturer since 2018) promotion material.
Provided two army export broshures that use original KhSChKV-34 stating 80-90% effectiveness against KE rounds and tied them to manufacturers slide and video of testing where they shoot at the turret cheek. 93 mm LOS (60 mm resid. pen on turret cheek at 50 degrees) residual pen minus ingame 100m 3BM42 pen of 454 gives 361 mm of pen reduction which is almost exactly 80% which correlates with two broshures.
