You’ll have to reread a lot, but you’ll find a phrase where he showed others how he closed the bug report, and later there was another post where he was considering warning the English-speaking bug report managers not to accept any reports related to Oplot.

If the l27a1 and dm53 will get same anti-era capabilities then the oplot is done for :(. Even the 3bm60 apparently has anti era capability in real life.

It feels fine at 12.3, it’s no worse than the T80UE1, it’s even better in terms of the turret, but worse than the T80BVM, everything is fine, the only downside is that there is a bug and the dynamic protection does not work against tandem shells.
I don’t understand why you’re whining about this, he’s a good tank and plays better than the Type 10.
His Abrams penetrated it with an older projectile, but nothing changed for the Oplot
Eh, for the last few days I’ve been spading Oplot-T (to grind for Leo2RI), and I wouldn’t say it is exactly T-80UE-1-level of tank
Weapons-wise they are almost the same (BTA4 is better by a mere 10mm @ 60°), mobility-wise Oplot is better thanks to reverse and neutral steering… but armor feels hella off.
Like idk why but the whole turret front can be easily pen’ed by anythjng at the BR in the turret ring (there is like a cople cm gap between ERA and hull), and volumetrics kinda play in favour of enemies bc I’ve barely succeeded to perform same penetrations to other tanks, even T-80UE – skill issue on my side, I guess
It can still be 12.3 tank, but if only the armor was finished as-is… like Duplet not working properly at times, some ERA tiles still being “soldered” together (reducing efficency of the said tiles by 2x), and with reduced long-rod efficency DM53 can cut through more reliably since the round is present on practically all 120mm tanks from 12.0 and onwards… I think the new “anti-ERA” round tanks should’ve moved 0.3 BR higher (including BMPTs since they are the main reason these round were added), or just have a general decompression at BRs from 8.0
Yet somehow “bugged” Relikt was fixed the same update the new modifiers/rounds were added, but oh well

In terms of hull armor, the Oplot and T80UE1 have the same armor reduction rating, both are under 600, but the Oplot’s turret is the best among all the T80s in the game. And yes, the T80UE1 and it are very similar, but the Oplot has a better reverse speed and should have anti-tandem protection, but it doesn’t work in the game due to a bug.
Oplot, like other T80s, was penetrated in the upper frontal plate by the M829A2; with the addition of the A3, nothing changed for these tanks.
That’s why it’s 12.3 and not 12.0.
