This tank would fill a large hole in the Italian tec tree by allowing players to using a vehicle that is slight more armored than what they have right now. Would be perfect BR any where between 4.7- 6.0 depending on the specs the devs would give the it.

I agree, Italy in low-mid tier lacks any non premium-heavy armored tank. This would be a unique vehicle, and I think funny to play

i still stick by my statement of 5.7 as it would be OP at any lower BR as it is only a little worse armored frontally than a panther and has considerebly better armor then the 5.0 KV-85 maybe even 6.0 depending on how its gun performs but likely 5.7 should be fine

I mean, this thing should be 5.7 with the 75, or 6.0-6.3 with the 80. The armour is very much equal to that of a Panther, and in certain aspects also better than that of a Tiger 1, whereas the firepower is again equal to either, depending on the gun.

The 75 mm version is basically a Panther with a Pz 4s gun, and given that the Panther D sits at 5.3 in Rb, it should sit around that, depending on what turret rotation speed would Gaijin give to it.

depends gaijin does there own calculations in house for guns so it could pen more
Well it does not pen more for the Turán 3 in game who uses the same cannon.

+1 what a cool tank I just learned about today! Would LOVE to see this in the tech tree as Italy/Hungary’s first TT heavy tank. Would be a perfect addition after the Turan III and could fill out the italian 4.7-5.7 range

Didn’t the 80mm only have 156 pen? Sounds like 5.7 to me.
Also still waiting for the Hungarian ww2 line to be expanded upon. Hopefully the 80mm is the version that gets into the TT. +1

Eh, not necessarily. Bare in mind it’s got more than enough filler to overpressure.
Compared to the Panther, it’s also extremely fast in reverse and has better overall armor, moreso on the turret.
I think it might come down to turret traverse rate if it goes to 5.7 or 6.0.

The gun will be excellent though your missing the smoke launchers you cannot larp as a panther 😢😭 You also cannot angle a little to maximize your armor even a little with the side plates.
Anyway +1 sad its not in game already would have been popular in the sub tree in a line up. Bring many victories to there users.
