You cant “accidently” press “claim” on every bp reward and then “accidently” buy out the entire wb shop.
When something like this happens with GE, Gaijin always reclaim all bugged GE, leaving person who used it, in debt. And then demand to pay this debt with real money.
I cant find the post now, but, on reddit, there was a case where one player got about 300k GE by server error, and wasted it all to buy out entire US tech tree. Guess what happened to him.
How is this different from GE situation I mentioned above? If people are mistakenly awarded by GE they surely have all posibilities to use it later as well, LOL.
Only difference is that “GE count” is one single easy to track value and bp levels with wb shop stuff are impossible to track down.
Gaijin is not lettng people to keep the stuff because players had no malicious intent in it (it’s actually the opposite, I saw many posts on bug report service with people saying “My bp bugged to lvl250 but I’ve already claimed all stuff ololololo guud luck to track every single warbucks LMAO”), but because Gaijin have no way to rollback everything, and probably dont even have backups.

The pass is my only motivation for playing the game.
I am not envious of the exclusive items obtained by other players, but I am angry about the devaluation of the items I could have sold.
What a mess ! Please be fair about the imbalance of those that got lucky and those who still have to be loyal and earn the pass by normal time and effort means. Because the way you have devised the battle pass it affects the next battle pass ie getting for free using coupons, the warbonds shops using free war bonds to buy the shop and the marketplace when you can sell the vehicles earnt early and price can be effected due to availability. It is a royal mess.
Side issue with the battle pass is that. If you play solely arcade it is near impossible to get the battle pass task The Making of a Legend . 12 kills is a hard task in Arcade air naval or ground. Please correct me if I’m wrong by publishing the stats of how many completes it in arcade only. Really it makes not a difference when some people got thousands of levels free.
There is no blame for a bug or exploit or hard feelings for those who lucked out. Just make it fair please.
At a time when a naval event with far too high a 45k grind. When naval is in a bad state and desperately needs rethink and more players. It’s quite infuriating that this happens to battle pass aswell.

This is the most ironic thing, a company that has been operating for many years, conducting tests and experiments near weekends without any contingency plans, even if such accidents have occurred multiple times, there are no on duty personnel.

That’s not what happened though… those that got the bug didn’t have to press ANYTHING for it to still be there after the fix. A player that logged in, saw the bug, got scared and logged out immediately without clicking anything, didn’t claim anything at all, would still have the levels and items available after the fix when the logged back in later again.

Lie, because, as person above said, people were logging in before fix to try to trigger the bug. Not all of them succeed, but still some of them did. Also many people affected by bug started to claim rewards and use them as soon as possible, hoping that it makes rewards less likely to be recalled.
Also you are implying that people did nothing wrong by keeping and using bugged stuff, which is untrue as well, since such behavior is explicitly stated as violation of TOS. All previous cases of similar events, like GE situation i mentioned, infamous “Premium time debt”, or RP bugs, resulted in bans and recalling of unfairly obtained ingame stuff.
It would be quite literally impossible to tell if a person logged in to “try to trigger a random bug” or just logged in as normal to play.
The Community managers have explicitly stated that it is okay for those that experienced the bug to keep the things they got.
I have not stated any of my personal opinions on the matter nor anything on what i think should or shouldn’t be done.
Since the incident has already occurred, why can’t Gaijin Company offer the players more compensation? Is it a difficult thing to offer compensation? This is extremely detrimental to players who have already obtained the battle pass and have spent a lot of time completing daily tasks, special missions and challenges (for example, me. My battle pass is already level 99. This was all done by myself and without exploiting any bugs).
I feel the same way, all the tasks can be really exhausting and frustrating at times. I always buy the battle pass afterwards, because three months is a long time and anything can happen in the meantime. But most of the time I manage to complete it. If there won’t be any meaningful compensation for everyone, I’ll probably stop playing for a while. There are some great games coming out this fall anyway

No, so far they have only removed the news about the problems with the battle pass on all platforms except the international forum. And they are hiding or deleting any posts and comments discussing this situation on the RU forum War thunder
