whats demo bomb? (yea ik its short for demolition) is it different than normal bomb?
does it actually matter ? You will get one tapped in both the b29 and the tu4 without landing a single hit. And the payload doesnt matter bc realisticaly you will only get 1 base per game due to the multiple stirke aircraft and other bombers in ur team

There being an expectation that the only place an aircraft is viable Ground RB I’ve always found to be really dumb. Especially as it requires you to play ground vehicles first and you get nothing but hate for using said aircraft in GRB.
All aircraft should be perfectly viable in ARB and there are plenty of ways to allow that to happen:

thing is, if the Tu-4 was moved down to say 7.3, it would be an absolute nightmare for 6.3 fighters to shoot it down.
It’s 23mm armament is still deadly at 8.0.
then train yourself,… use gunners manually,… most aircraft at such BR are easily killed by 4x23mm facing them whatever the angle.

True but you can just stay out of range or just move fast enough to not give them a chance. Not to mention is straight up faces 9bs
to fire a 9B the plane has to be within the coverage of the gunners.

What excellent flight performance from the IL-28… /s
I even gave Sea Hawk 50% fuel because it’s like 6 - 8 minutes on minimum.
In-practice, IL-28s in matches are among the weakest bombers if they’re caught near fighters.
Obviously not as weak as a Tu-4 against a prepared fighter position.
This is why when I fly IL-28s I have to be more cautious with my routing than with Canberra, B-57, or even faster bombers.
You said it couldn’t compete with Buccaneer S.1… I see the goal posts are no longer in the same city…🤓
The S1 is faster than B-57 and Canberra.
Including B-57/Canberra which itself is faster than IL-28 automatically refutes IL-28 being anywhere close to Bucc S1.
That and I was refuting the claim that IL-28 can do much of anything against fighters in air RB without major skill disparity.
It can do more to enemy fighters than the Bucc S.1 - I see the goal posts have actually emigrated now…
