The B-29 Super fortress historically used an advanced Central Fire Control System (CFC) consisting of interconnected gunsights and electromechanical analog computers. The system automatically calculated corrections for factors such as lead, ballistics, and parallax, allowing the crew to remotely control the aircraft’s defensive turrets. This was a real feature of the B-29 and could be represented in-game for greater historical accuracy. I think it should be added so it would be more enjoyable at 7.0
How it would work is the stock ai that comes with all of the gunners in the bombers are inaccurate and miss a lot of the time.
But in the B-29 the gunners are 25% or more accurate and they can detect aircraft at longer ranges (the longer ranges depends on the crew skill) as they miss less due to the analog computer onboard on all the gunners.
How to balance it? Due to the new bomber buffs, i suggest the AI gunners guns overheat 5-10% more when not controlling the gunners, but once you take control of the gunners, that overheat nerf is gone until you exit out of the gunners, then that overheat nerf is back.
How to get the full 25% accuracy buff?
It’s simple! For example: if you have a crew with zero upgrades, the accuracy buff is at 3-8% when at max level crew (not aced nor expert) the accuracy increased to 12-17% (percent can be adjusted by the devs if want to) and expert it increased to 17-20% and finnaly when you have a fully maxed out aced crew, you have the full 25%
