I saw the video , i think he was ironic. The F-14 IRIAF is OP and F90s are the best thing ever , when the others try to not defend against them.
In fact there is nothing to think, he was just ironic , but people will take it as they like because they think like that… so he must say that.

In-game thrust is correct for high alt launch conditions
if you compare, the aim-54 still has the advantage before the 20 seconds of burn, the Phoenix still have one the best energy retentions in game
