That is extremely misleading for in game
its at 40,000ft, subsonic and chances are the bomber lacks an afterburner so two of the greatest generators of heat are now minimised or excluded, the only thing going for it is that its likely a multi engine and large aircraft but without information its not much use
“versus subsonic bomber target”
Thats fair but the lack of info on the target remains so its really still some guesses
Theres a chance it uses a lower micron range so i have no idea on its full aspect ability and its not included in the description of the missile
Edit: Micron band is 3-6 which is similar to most missiles of the era and actually slightly higher and greater width which can cause both greater lock ranges and more clutter but it is the seeker used on RB28 and therefore the swedes and even the initial GAR 4A SMC disagrees with that output
The SMCs clash but the more modern one is usually used which would be the one you used and i did in the first post
AIM-4s have been added to the missile sheet
RIP 27Gs. This missile is rarely going to hit anything outside of high altitude zombies lol
Well, it’ll see its success against the vast majority of 9.3 and 9.7 planes since they don’t have RWRs or CMs.
it should be more and less
I mean it does have a few things going for it on the radar version (if it isn’t changed) over the Aim-26.
Namely, it gets a .5 second guidance delay and a CW seeker instead of a 2 second delay and a Pulse seeker.
its wrong but idk what the guidance delay should be
4s sustainer on such a small missile looks to be hilarious.
