what was the a4 buff exactly

thrust increased, energy retention increased, turn rate increased, clmax increased, wing loading reduced. Overall it’s a very good dogfighter now. If I could get many gun kills STOCK at 9.7 with a heavy a4 variant now i want you to imagine an 8.3 a4 that is already spaded.
USA is EXTREMELY oppressive at 9.0.

Isn’t the yak130/ alpha type A and other jets like those also at 9.0 witch have kinda better performance?
Also major decompression is needed

is the same buff on all variant including A4E?
Can you reference a bug report showing this? Does this go for the Israeli A-4Es as well?

Interesting… I had noticed A-4 pilots getting braver in recent days.
This is probably more accurate to real life, since the A-4 was pretty nimble aircraft used to simulate MiG-15/17 at Top Gun, and it was used as a multirole fighter-bomber in some cases (Aussie A-4G).
If true, they will need a BR adjustment… A-4E was already borderline undertiered given its speed, missiles, and countermeasures at only 8.7.

Also it carried three not only two Walleyes bombs :)
The guy said the energy retention and CL got changed. This would be a family wide change if true.

Ahh man I just noticed I can’t lock targets with agm62 at long distance anymore:( practically like jdams till you get close enough
Although it cool to know that if the bomb directly hits a vehicle it can do some dmg without exploding

I think it needed it especially because they are slow in ARB and slow everywhere else too
The A4PTM is 9.7 for a reason, it’s also not in USA.
A-4B does not & has never over-performed.
Same thing, & there has been no notable change:
It’s a sub-par aircraft that can do one-circles decently, but there’s a reason people prefer stuff like Sabres over them.
All 9.0 Sabres are better than the A-4E.
