Testing of Supermaneuverable IR missiles

Wonder if gaijin will do this or just send it with the Block 60 kfir

Add the LFK-NG to the list and finally give the UHT something to defend itself with

I really hope Block 60 gets Python 4s, it would be such a good test bed just like SU-25BM was for R-73

I don’t
It’s going to ruin that entire br

If it does then remove the missile, but with an airframe as outdated as the Kfir at 13.7/14.0 I’m pretty sure it won’t ruin anything

Kfir airframe is still quite potent, especially for a missile slinger

I disagree, it’s realistically an overcooked Mirage III, it’s not awful by any means but as airframe and FM go it is way out of its league against F-15, F-16, J-10, Mirage 2000s, it can go quick, but it burns a lot of speed in even small maneuvers, is limited to 4 missiles and I believe could carry 72 CMs so overall pretty bad, you have to remember as well that the Python 4 seeker is already effectively in game and is by no means unbeatable, and we have other aircraft with long range IR missiles as well. The Python 4 is one of the less dangerous 90s IR missiles to add overall compared to ones like the ASRAAM and MICA IR.

I can very much see a Python 4 armed Kfir filling the same role as the F-4F ICE does now, with an old, dated airframe but missile that bring it up from its normal BR range, just like the F-4 was brought from its 10.3-11.3 home up to 13.0 the Kfir could be brought from its 11.0-12.3 home up to 13.7/14.0 with the addition of much better missiles

Thrust vectoring is the exact same on the R-73, it’s purely a booster upgrade along with better seeker tech.
