Better in lossing SL and nerves xDDD
Well after playing some games with a friend we can give some feedback about this mode, we have alot of time on sim since we played and i mean its a good idea bringing NE to sim modes but with some conditions for sim players.
-1: We saw that the AAA are diferent on the br brackets but they aren´t any powerfull , thats really good because it isn´t the same to evade missiles from sim to arb keep on that.
-2:Continue of the AAA on the sim mode it would be nice if they are a bit less AAA on the front lines atleast a bit nut like a huge nerf but removing some and like on normal sim battles all the ia units like tanks, AAA, infantry, boats are marked they can do that on the NE sim mode beacuse is kinda hard to remember well the positions and more if they are moving but the SAM sites they can keep it hiden to make it difficult but with this i dont want to make like a very easy mode for everyone more like balanced.
3-There is a good amount of spawn killing on the bases
4: put the same brackets as normal sim battles because the gap between 11.3-13.0 and 13.3+ is kinda a big gap there, the solution will be like normal brackets if the mode will be on live.
This is what we mostly saw maybe we are losing something over but this will be the most important changes war thunder can make on this mode , i agree and i would like to help improve this mode because sim games still the same mode as we know for now , i want to make it like more accesible to people.
Thank you to listen.
It’s the viewpoint in game, and has nothing to do with headtracking per se.
Also, in TrackIR you can easily shift the viewpointy with the TrackIR software…
Would prefer to be able to use the in-game controls, like everybody else. Everytime you zero TrackIR, its viewpoint resets.
Nuclear Escalation in Sim Battles is absolutely fantastic! My dream of seeing a major overhaul of the SB mode is finally becoming a reality: a wide variety of targets, huge maps, a high density of action, and enormous tactical possibilities.
Please keep working on the SB version of NE. This is exactly what SB needs!
It’s exciting, and has a lot of good things, but for my taste it’s atm too “dense”, too arcadey. Larger maps would certainly help, but having dogfights all the time over airfields is a tad strange. You can’t really take off and not be in the middle of a battle anywhere, and as the whole map therefore is basically one big furball, there’s little of the actual tactics that Sim EC offers.
Still, it’s fun - with the caveats well discussed also for the RB version, mainly the very powerful AA, especially coupled with the very small size of the battlefield.
But then, that’s just after one 20 minutes try, hehe!
i am 14 in 1 i dont see it xD
You still can, can’t you?

Head movement doesn’t work when TrackIR is used, unfortunately.
Hm, that’s indeed a big drawback.
We-hell, guess it’s time to write to Santa about that Quest 3, eh? = )
I don’t know if any bug reports have ever been made. This has been a known issue for a long time now.
I tried it once. Even worse that RB NE and much worse than standard sim in every single aspect.
You just described an original simulator.
Just for throwing me into same asian map without letting me change my aircraft, this mode deserves to go to trash bin.
Those bugs exist in sim for years yet you refuse to fix them. And now it just gets worse because you are trying to fit sb mechanics in mode with rb mechanics so we get frankenstein with crewlocks, useful actions, fy_pool type of map cluttered with aa, years old sim bugs and as cherry on top some obscene 11.7-13.0 bracket, gl killing f2 adtw in f4 junk or m23ml.
I feel like the more I play it the more mind I lose. Its just worse than both rb ne and asb imo.
Exactly this.
