Terrible Server

most matches I am having are fine connection wise (below 50 ping and 0 PL) however i believe 1 server is having issues

Stable internet on my end

The Internet is a series of tubes…

There can be a loss in the series of nodes that the internet goes through, which can make people also share that same outage.

Had several stable games prior to this. But this went throughout the whole match. I feel like there is a specific server (i only have NA selected) that i can not play on that every once in a while it throws me onto.

NA servers are quite easily split for east and west coast.

This sort of situation I’d be pulling out the cmd window with tracert and find where the drop is, compared to others.

Commonly a route can be bad for certain ISPs if they route through certain ways to cut back on costs.

It won’t so much be a certain server, but more chance to be the link to the entire set.

I think you are correct.
Is this something Gaijin would be willing to improve on do you think? 🤔

I really don’t know much about packet routing and what not, just the super basics, but is there a way to identify what routes are bad and change them. Either on my end or gaijins?

First Gajin is NOT an Internetprovider
Second Gajin has no influence on the routing from your Home to their servers

but what can you do to improve from your home…
try to reboot your router, in good circumstances it will provide a better routing to the servers which are routing you to the Gajin servers
next thing is check that your PC/Laptop/Console is connected via cable to your router
another thing is to check the routing to warthunder.com from your location
when using PC/Laptop open CMD, enter “tracert warthunder.com” and post results here
perhaps someone here can explain your routing to the servers and provide more help then

hey man restart ur wifi before entering the game. That fix my error82220002

Right, but its not every game, I’ll still do it before I hop onto warthunder in the future and see if it helps. It just seems like there is a set of servers that is really difficult to route to. I was wondering if gaijin couldn’t write exclusions to entering games when PL and ping are too high. Such as testing connection prior to entering a server/match and allowing you to enter or not.
