I’m not talking about Panthers alone, many vehicles had their design flaws which made them borderline useless or made the army sack the project as a whole.
Giving the same amount of reliability to power train that has proven issues and to one that does not is pretty much selective realism you’re talking about. Somehow you’re unaware of this.
Same thing as giving a gun more accuracy than it should have.
If you’re fine with one, you should be fine with other.
Rest of your comment is useless.
I’m not avoiding you, I simply didn’t realise you were talking to me.
The ka has the same gun issues, but they’re not modelled.
Here’s one where the gun hit the fuselage with its own round due to excessive barrel whip.
They did want to use a dual feed gun but the reliability and speed of the change over was insufficient for the things intended purpose of suppressing infantry at close range and high elevation.
my post was removed for calling the lead developer a liar beucause 1 week after his interview that he said that all the premiums thay add theyare carful and put the better version in the TT and here we are that they put the good version as a prumium and the bad in TT
Could that be a mechanical error? Regardless, the undisputed fact here is that the ka-52 gun, which still wobbles, has managed to produce great results in regards to accuracy, and there’s no reason why the BMPT can’t do the same. I know there can be some dispersion, and it probably is worse than the dispersion of ka52, but I think the supposed claims are exaggerated
ATGM carrier … hmm, so it will be classed as SPG so it can separate SP spawn cost from tanks + have access to ammo crate that will magically double ammo+ATGM capacity?
now let’s see at how ridiculously low BR Gaijin will place it …
in the stream it was 10.3
knowing from past experience they mostly leave the BRs of the dev server in the live server aswell
once people start complaining they will raise it higher
It say it speaks to the gun being insufficiently braced given its know tendency to start whipping. I believe it was “solved” by welding an additional bracket to constrain the barrels travels.
The problem is actually fairly complex.
The 2A42 already has… significant recoil characteristics. Put two of them side by side, off centre on a turret which is more like an ifv turret than a tanks turret is just asking for problems.
It’s the gun being the way it is, asymmetrical forces when firing, a stabiliser which struggles to cope with the asymmetrical forces and a turret and mounting with insufficient stiffness.
Combine all that with the muzzle breaks venting onto the partner gun and it’s not surprising it’s the way it is.
It’s a good concept for a vehicle but badly executed.
so you dont have data to say that the gun is accurate either, lol
and judging by the high fire rate and extreme barrel wobble, im going to laugh if it somehow has the same accuracy as other auto cannons IFV like Bradley
WHo said that USSR being OP again?
They add BMPT limiting it to shoot one cannon at a time, without proper ammunition, ANOTHER TIME as with BMP limiting the APDS belt to ONE, and having it shoot non-tandem ATGM at 10.3.
