can you tell me the weak spots on the tiger heavy tank series?

Tiger H1 - Commander’s cupola and lower side plate when angled, otherwise upper front plate - avoid the driver/mg port and turret.

Tiger E - lower side plate

VK 45.01 series - upper front plate’s cheeks, they’re angled but only 80mm. Exceptional weak spot for the uparmoured version. Same Commander’s Cupola weakspot as H1. Avoid regular upper front plate on Panzerbefehlswagen variant

Royal Tiger (P) - turret cheeks

Royal Tiger (H) - flank it and hit the rear of the turret, thats the first stage ammo rack.

Any others just ask

are there any general weakspots i should be aware of? i see a lot of people aim to the tank tracks, between the wheels

General weak spots for tanks are the lower front plate, on Germans it usually takes out the transmission, but usually avoid it on Soviet vehicles.

Flat spots in general are much better to aim at than curved or slanted spots; aim for turret rings if they have an exposed turret ring (round part where the turret meets the hull). The lower sides where the tracks are, as you’ve noticed, is usually the weakest point on the sides of a tank (except the KV-1 aim for the turret side instead). Also try to avoid hitting the tracks if you can, and aim for the middle of the tank on the side under the turret or slightly in front because that’s usually where all the crew and ammo is.

Avoid shooting mantlets (the extra armour shield attached to the gun) as its almost always thicker than the cheeks of the turret, except for on a couple of the low-tier Italian SPGs off the top of my head.

Driver hatches/ports are 50/50 as sometimes they’re a weakness (IS-3, P40, T-72) and sometimes they’re insanely strong (T-34, Tiger 1, Italian SPGs).

MG ports are tricky to hit but 90% of the time they’re an easy way to pen the front of even the heaviest tanks such as the Tiger II, Panther, Jagdtiger, Shermans (especially the jumbo and the spicy low-tier ones), etc…

Overall it’s always good when you enter a new BR bracket to take a little time and learn the weak spots of the vehicles you’re facing, since every vehicle is a bit different, but the easiest rule to penetrating a tank you aren’t sure about is that sides and rear are better than front (obviously) and to go for the flattest, least angled area that’s lowest on the tank, as typically the higher you go the more armour there is. So that’s why you noticed people go for the lower sides where the tracks are, it’s usually the easiest way to kill most tanks with only a couple exceptions!

And I can always tell you more about where to aim in order to do the most damage etc… but a good rule for target priority is to always if you know you can pen it, take out stuff in the turret first so they can’t shoot back and then go for the other crew etc(unless it’s a TD or SPG without a turret, then engine or transmission should be first (as long as it isn’t looking at you) because then they become a sitting duck and super easy to flank around.
