What does a tank motor fire actually do? I always extinguish it because it might so something but i never thought about it? What does actually a tank motor fire do?
In war thunder it can make you burn down and make your ammunition cook off. Just keep extinguishing it and you’ll be fine.

Yeah it will damage your crew and ammo after a while.
Depends how good that firewall is though…
It’s like a car fire though, leave it burning, you won’t have wires and cables before long, airbox, intake, all gonna be troubled.
I sometimes wait for a minute to head to good cover before hitting the extinguishers because of the insta-stop caused by extinguishing.
There’s even a couple of tanks I just keep driving like the panther and tiger, and extinguish after those who attacked me are done.
So sometimes if crew are close to it they will slow die and your ammunition will cook off.
I think that always happends.
I imagine that the fire has some sort of AoE effect, that simply increases the longer it burns.
So eventually you will die from any fire.
