ARB was pushed into a deathmatch mode by people who only went for purely frag chasing.
It ended up in eliminated dynamic objectives and watered down all roles EXCEPT fighter on fighter combat.

No, ask any current bomber player, especially at higher tiers, anything above 20mm cannons will evaporate them when they should be able to survive hundreds of shots as they do in real life

i think that giving bombers similar targeting like in Helicopter turrets. you can manually shoot but also you can put the red targeting box on the target.
No, bombers stand above clouds, if you can’t see them coming it’s something you failed to do
1: This is only true on higher tiers, tiers where bombers will very often kill whoever tries to intercept them even if they do die too
2: So, because people wanted to focus on the fighters rather than the bomber, they deserve to either have to crash into the ground or wait 20 minutes of literally nothing happening
3: The vast majority of last alive players are bombers, just play a random game of 4.3 and you will see
Making bombers being able to be controlled by 2 players in air RB would be epic. Only way id play them
Bombers have a lot of spread, because gaijin decided to make gunners shake their gun all over the place, If you get killed by a gunner, you’ve done the WORST approach possible known to man.
A bomber player has to adjust to a constantly changing paralax, exagerated spread, a mostly unpredictable target and lastly, being outranged in a fragile plane.
If you don’t want to bother using basic strategy like camp either the base OR the main airfield to pin down a bomber’s possible location, you’ve got a FAT “blind hunt” or “Avenger” , EVEN EASIER to obtain now thanks to item recycling.
If you lose to tickets, im sorry but mr. bomber only took 3 bases max, which is like 2-4 pillboxes worth of tickets.

Problem:
Warthunder air realistic and air simulator use the exact same damage modelling and mechanics.
If you go and buff bombers in ARB, they would become incredibly dangerous monsters in air sim.
Even now, if the bomber is aware and at the keyboard - some bombers can be nearly impossible to take out without taking severe damage yourself solo. Which is realistic and fine except for the gunners retaining their accuracy even on fire and while spinning.
In ASB, fighters are usually firing from 300 to 500 meters except for a few, higher skill players and certain aircraft that are both stable enough and have good ballistics and nose guns (P-38s, Tigercats, Hornets, the like).
Earlier I linked a video by one of sim’s better dogfighters talking about this very issue so it’s not skill issue.
Anyhow.
Here’s an example of a bomber yellowing my fuselage AFTER I cut off his tail from what might well have been an optimal approach and a decently long-range shot while flying an ideal bomber hunter (SHAW!).
In my yaks, I have died to bombers with wings detached and spinning shooting at me.

If bombers could dispose of fighters without requiring much skill consistantly, fighters would just ignore them and just become even more toxic than they allready are
The 1 or 2 times I managed to take off in a bomber even just a B-25 It was boring and lots of waiting but I feel the bomber experience is much better in sim it took like 3 guys to kill me even then I crited them all and I died bc a 4th dude killed my half dead B-25

I think bombers once again, need the ability to simply reload mid-air, bombers just can’t spend 5-7 minutes to drop 4-6km of alt .
gunners don’t need a buff, gunners would be a last card for when thing go really wrong.
Bomber gameplay should be one of slow planning of routes to AVOID being shot down, not like never appear on the enemy’s radar, that would be an ideal battle, more like not be a super convenient target.
Bomber gameplay would be like this:
1-Spawn
2-PLAN your route to your objectives
3-Shallow Climb
4-stay vigilant during your travel
5- drop bombs
6- turn back to rearm (mid-air with some point behind your airfield)
7-repeat
And not this:
1-Spawn
2- Maybe climb
3- rush base
4-bomb
5- either try to make it back to base or hide
6- land and leave battle, land try another run at low alt and probably die, let the match end or die
sounds like your trying to still have them easy to kill still very much RP piñata while sounding like you care

The only thing that can be tweaked is spread.
If we try to fix paralax by placing the camera closer we get a bomber obtructing our view when we aim below the horizon.
If we make gunners first person only, we need a whole new menu to change positions, and it will be super unwieldy.
Adding computers to planes that have them will not happen in 100 years. I could smell the complaints from stupid people that would have been killed by the B-66’s radar on the timeline it recieved one.
Maybe we can shoot bomber frame health by 5-10? more time to adjust for aim, better vs he rounds (AP rounds would be the same)
rework to bases and bomber rearming is a must.
Also buff reward multipliers on later bombers, they are complete ass and the bombers need to avoid the most sweaty players on spitfires LF Mk.IXs, Mk.24s, Yak-3Us and the SL starved BF-109 K-4.
