Hello, I’d like to suggest one of the more decisive vehicles of modern Canada, namely the TAPV. I had a friend talk me into the idea of its main weapon being decent in WT, and I like the look of the vehicle.

History:
The Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle(TAPV) project would start out as the Light Armoured Recce Vehicle(LARV). This project would be first defined in the latter half of the 1990s after the coyote fleet had been fully introduced. By 2004, this would have been narrowed down to a small list of bidders, and the army would have acknowledged a preferred bidder. The Light Armoured Recce Vehicle program would be called in 2006 do to changing requirements and budget cuts. However, that cancellation would be short-lived, as by March of 2008, the need for a vehicle similar to what was looked at would be identified, leading to the Tactical Armoured Oatrol Vehicle project.

Between 2009 and 2012, a few different programs would run, which would set out to find a replacement for the RG-31 Nyala and Coyote. When going over them, it was realized that many of the issues would be solved by combining both programs. Leading to the Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle project as the primary program. The outcome of this program would lead to Textron Systems Canada Inc. winning the contract, with 500 vehicles ordered and another 100 able to be ordered. Textron would award a contract for Rheinmetall Canada to help build the TAPVs themself for Canada. Originally, the production vehicles were meant to be delivered in 2014; however, this was pushed back to 2016, with deliveries completed in 2018.

I was wondering when I would get a reaction to this like that…

Considering from what I’ve heard, it’s thee most hated vehicle of the CAF.

Should try with the prototype with the TOW on it first.

hmmm? TOW was put on it?

That’s the first I’ve heard of it. Got any pics or more?

Looks cool, but I am a bit wondering about anti-tank capability

Will 40mm GMG be enough to frag enemy APC?

Try to find back the pictures ou the prototype, but yes. The platform was where the wheel is posed.

HEDP-SD, more like the 40mm on the AH-1G, 89mm of heat, low in velocity and able to be ‘he-vt’
