So i recently unlocked the t95e1, this is a decent tank all around but i did notice something strange about the 90mm apfsds. When firing at targets 1 km or above, the shell drifts to the right or left more often than on other mbts. Is there a reason for this worse dispersion or is it a bug. I dont have adjustment of fire unlocked yet but stock tanks usually arent that inaccurate with high velocity rounds
It could be just the adjustment of fire modification or perhaps a bug (recalling a familiar mention of this from Spookston’s YT video on the T95E1)
The T95E1 medium tank does fire the T320 APFSDS shell out of a smoothbore cannon.
But historically, this first-generation round did have some overall accuracy issues despite being fin-stabilized, which apparently DID lead to one of the main reasons the T95 project was cancelled in 1960 in favour of the M60 Main Battle Tank with the L7/M68 105mm Rifled Gun.
I did notice the mbt had similar issues in game too where it shoots a very fast shell that had wide dispersion. Still i dont remember that being as pronounced even though it was a shorter barrel
Its not the accuracy of the gun. Its that the gun sights aren’t aligned with the barrel when the tank is angled to the right. Test drive and go on a slope that puts the right side low and you can see the round seems to be firing more to the right than it should.
That being said, good fk’n luck with bug reports. It took them 4 YEARS to fix the turning with this tank. If you pressed W+A or W+d, it used to take TWICE is along to traverse 360 degrees as an is4.
