T72B and 1989 NEED lower Br!

It does when tanks start getting plastered in composite armor.

I know even 9.0 darts can kill t90m from front in 1 shot and its not even like some small weakpoint its just a normal LFP shot, take breahces out just as well too, but these tanks suffer greatly in mobility, gun handling, armor basically everything compared to higher BR offerings. I get its not like WW2 brs were its literally game over fighting stuff even 1 br higher but its still not great.

Like i said, tandem head warheads don’t care what BR you are. AFT09, ZT3A2 and the others work at top-tier just as much their own.

Also i understand things like the BMD4 are more fun to play than the 2s38, but it stops being fun when the ammo stops being effective and the atgms are meeting composites.

You hit him right in the lfp, its not an easy shot for atgm carriers esp at range/moving targets. You go from lolpenning anything you see to having to hit weakspots with things that are signifcantly harder to aim than darts.

It’s okay to admit when you’re wrong.

I guess am i wrong after playing around in protection map, thought it would stop these guess it doesn’t.

Spoiler

im still right about the MM )))

Maybe ill drag the khriz up now.

Now if we were discussing TOW2B, I’m on your side

Give me tandem ATGM over those top down ones any day.

Khriz is one I’ve not had great results in, wish it had more tubes. Ground radar is gimmicky at best. Only some meme heli snipes:

Honestly, i wouldn’t mind to have T-72B 1985 with lower BR with REMOVED top darts.

Now i don’t see a point in trying it out, due to T80UD being at the same BR.

The T72B is better then the T72b 1989. T72B 1989 problem is pretty much everything that is a downgrade from the original T72B other then Kontact-5

I really like the radar hit a lot of shots I wouldnt without it on longer range maps like gokarts going 100kmph side aspect 1km out, you can find people in brush you cant see with thermals, and you can use it to guide shots while your optics cant see behind cover.

I remember the last one where I had to get completely behind cover to dodge a dart the tank was shooting at me and the radar kept lock behind cover just long enough to guide it in. Optics were staring at dirt in front of me for almost the last 2 seconds.

Yet here you are.

Those are soft stats you are comparing.
Yes it’s less mobile than a Leopard 2 that is realistic and be thankful Gaijin havent modelled the horrendous offroad performance and gunner accuracy on the move.
Yes again that’s a tank design…Did you give it a plus for being a smaller silhouette?
DM-53 is good but so is 3BM60, the HE round is also great for overpressuring tanks in cover.
Autoloader consistent rate of fire, no reload delayed if the loader is killed and you can still load the gun manually when the loader mechanism is damaged.
Worse armour not really on a snap shot the T-72/80 and 90 have a higher survival rate.

Lets talk about what you missed…No turret basket, cannot completely cripple a T-series tank with that kind of shot.
Fuel tanks and mantlet eating rounds
50 cal commander mg
APS system makes it largely immune to helicopter ATGMS and even Brimstones.

Is it a great tank? No but it isn’t bad one

???
damaged autoloader = no loading. You can’t manually load.

???
False

False again. You can cripple T-series easily, and autoloader damage cripple the tank the same way as turret baskets.

???
T72B is 10.3 and it does not have APS.

Its significantly worse than even your 4th spawn mbt in german 12.0 lineup.

Putin doesnt pay me enough to respond to this anymore than that.

Wait I just got 20 rubles, if russia got a 2a4 passed off as an object 1234 and gave it 3mb60/gen3 thermals and stuck it at 12.0 people would argue its better than the bvm thinking its some kind of wonder weapon with reverse gears and depression never seen before and the forums would cry russian bias.

They must have changed it recently then I have loaded a shell manually in the British T-90S…

Not really as to hit the autoloader you have to go through the front plate. Most shots best place is the lower front plate and if that doesn’t kill the tank the round passes through and hits the engine.
Do the same on a Leopard 2 and you take out the gun and FCS system as well as the engine.

T-90 in the British tree has more chance of bouncing a rushed shot than the top tier CR2…
The armour despite being K5 is still very good.

The reply was to the T-72B3A comment…I’m aware

Is it worse than the French, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Israeli or British 4th spawn top tier tank?

So in short it’s worse than the German, Swedish and equal to the US option but somehow you guys have it rough?

IDK i just feel like its the same arguements over and over again and im too burned out to repeat them, at least the derailing this time was for a craptastic OP that deserved it.

Im gonna go spend my 20 rubles on some vodka and try to forget this.

Secret to enjoying War Thunder is to stay away from the forums. But obviously, easier said than done.

Secret to enjoying it to just play memey janky vehicles and accept you are going to have a bad time! And avoid the top tier sweat fest

Bro… you say only Lie and bulls**t.

Hes saying it should go up with decompression meaning equal vehicles in other trees would also go up
