The T58 Heavy tank should be moved to Rank VI in the US Tech Tree
Since the BR change has been put in place and it is at BR 9.0, making it the only 9.0 vehicle in Rank V (int he entire game btw). This creates an awkward progression gap as all other tanks in its current rank are 7.0 to 8.0 both in the tech tree and the prim tank that are in the same rank, especially considering that its Battle Rating puts it alongside vehicles that are generally found in the next rank.
Rank placement should reflect not only a vehicle’s Battle Rating but also its position within the overall progression of the tech tree.
Moving the T58 to Rank VI would make more sense for several reasons:
It would eliminate the unusual situation of having the only 9.0 vehicle sitting in Rank V.
Its placement would better reflect its Battle Rating and where it sits in the US ground lineup. (it is the only tank at 9.0 sitting at rank 5. The M60A1 is at a lower BR and it is at rank VI.
This isn’t necessarily a request to buff or nerf the T58. Its performance and Battle Rating can remain exactly as they are.
The suggestion is simply to move it to Rank VI , where its current BR and position in the tech tree would make more sense.
i really think the BR vs rank system is silly, like each nation having different BR spreads across each rank has some reason (to avoid have a relatively even amount of vehicles per rank ig) but its not even a hard rule and leads to situations like the f84f where the american one gets an airspawn an no others do even though most nations that have it already have other 8.3 aircraft in rank 5 so their f84fs totally could go to rank 5 instead of being rank 6
they need to set it in stone and actually keep it that way

Also as I said its not requesting a buff or nerf, it actually would put it in the the correct tank as I said all the other tanks in its BR is 7.0 o 8.0 which puts it in a really weird rank. If it was at rank 6 it would be put in a rank that shares it BR with tanks of the same BR.
This is more about which rank gaijin intends to be researchable with that one premium tank.
Increasing its rank would turn it into a better premium deal, and most people who wanted it already bought it. So I doubt gaijin will now “buff” it for that reason. They want to sell the more expensive higher-rank packs
