This thing is an even bigger menace than the Turm 3. With its combination of great armor and a 2.6-second autoloader, it’s completely game-breaking. At this BR it’s just no longer acceptable.

this thing is inpenetrable from the front - so i totally understand that decision.
It’s basically T-62 but with long 100mm cannon
It can be oneshotted by any L7-armed tank just by hitting UFP

Cold war territory probably has the least amount of meaningful armor in the entire br range lol its a point and click adventure where everybody and their sisters has dm23, only time we find something slightly harder to pen is the T-72 lol

the Maus doesnt have an L7 gun. It was pure hell to face that thing.
I never seen so many people getting nukes in that thing - its disgusting.
T58 is an easy kill afaik, I’ve been mainly playing german 7.7 with the maus and that things a easy target. The fast reload seems more like a gimmick then anything, since its impossible to sustain momentum after you get caught without a full autoloader
I do not know what they have done to the armor on that tank, but it is NOT 90mm I have non penned it with L23, and L15A3 alike, I am not lying when I say the only way I have penned those things is with ATGMs with +1000mm of pen.
Edit* I have been shooting at the turret face, rarely have I seen the hull which I assume is a free kill as it is based on M103 hull iirc

compare it to the Soviet T-10M…
Its quite a bad 8.3. Gets roflstomped by STAB’d MBTs with far better mobility. Autocannons also utterly grief it, as its breach gets insta-nuked, the armor is bugged and can be penned by Veak 40 SAPHE, and the cupola.

T58 is an absolutely moronic addition to the game and painfully op. Crap move by Gaijin, but par for the course for them…make money by flogging OP premiums at the cost of game play. They are very good at being jackasses.

Bruh, the is7 is the only tank I am afraid of during matches in my t58. Shoot the hull, its youre best bet. Its fine where it is, just dont shoot the turret
i think thats just some volumetric BS with the plates, similar to the panther mantlet overperformance
I must say the few matches I’ve played with the AMX-30 and X-30B2 that included encounters with T58s haven’t been an issue, they burnt brightly. Personally I’m not a big fan of its addition, but it hasn’t been a headache for me currently.

It probably should go up in br just a little bit but overall most of The hate for it is overreaction due to it being new and weird which will settle down once people know how to kill it

It is. France has a whole lineup of autoloader thanks with oscillating turrets lower than t58 The reload will be nerfed and it will be moved up a little bit people are just mad at a new vehicle
