As a person playing on Russian tech tree, and my friends from Germany, France and UK tech tree, we all agree that USA’s T58 is the most unfair tank to exist, legit one second reload, ONE SECOND RELOAD ON A HEAVY TANK BTW, we cannot penetrate no matter what cuz they all come with groups, its not a singular tank. I think it shall be removed completely because its breaking the game and ruining the game experience for newbies, and yeah im a newbie. It doesnt have a weak spot if you dont have HEAT, APDS and APFSDS shells. like im playing with BTR-80A the maximum tank i own and i get faced to T58’s. And it happens in 7 out of every 10 match, genuinely can we all agree that it shall be removed no sarcasm intended?

I feel your argument falls flat considering youre using autocannon armed IFV to duke it out with a heavy tank. Is there any scenario where light tank should confront heavy tank frontally in 1v1 and come out victorious?
Also considering the name of the topic, unfairly overpowered, implies existence of fairly overpowered vehicle.

When Russian vehicles are weakened, you can come here and say that T58 should be weakened.
If you want T58 to be removed, then BMPTS must also be removed.

Unless you have a 7.7 in your lineup the btr80a cant fight the t58 though
I probably won’t be removed. but I understand your pain. The armour is volumetric hell but in what scenario is a BTR-80A going to pen a 8.0 BR heavy tank?
The PTSD flashback to my first game with Somua SM ever where BTR-80 waltzed through the town square on Normandy, through my entire team, fired off single round to the back of my turret, ammoracking me and then immidiately getting killed
Using BTR to say it’s overpowered is like saying Maus is hard to kill with an M24 Chaffee… at least pick an actual tank instead of an autocannon IFV.

welcome to overpressure mechanics.
The fragmentation penetration of the HESH is sufficient to go through most tanks’ sides and floor (or just ufp directly), as such, said fragments can hit internal modules and subsequently overpressure the vehicle.
