T58 also has a 1 shot gun on a 2s reload which alone would put it at 8.3+ without even taking into account the turret armor
XD the guy who thinks a 3.7 Puma equivelant is fine at 5.3 is tryna tell you about what is and isn’t balanced.
90% of Warthunder fights end in the first shot. Having a stabilizer is better than having a shot reload.

I mean, we have 2s38 (spaag) labeled as light tank. Namer is also labeled as light tank with its 60+ tons of mass. So nothing unusual

“Nightmare” without stab, lrf and proper munitions. Turm 3 and 35mm spaags are good at making t58 owners regret buying this vehicle. Just like other stab vehicles that always shoot first
Because no one cares about 8.3, and that it’s not Russian. If it was Russian this community would have a meltdown because 50%+ have heavy biases against Russia,

A good T58 operator sitting at objective point is technically a Thanos level threat in a partial downtier match, worse than Maus sitting at objective point vs 6.7s lol

Don’t worry, non-USSR vehicles need to hit around 3 K/D before they are recognized by the forum know-it-alls as “slightly strong” vehicles. From 8.0 and up, third month in a row it’s in Top 3 when it comes to K/D and is only beaten by exclusive event vehicles that are seriously hard to obtain. A vehicle from the major nation that can be easily bought by the average player still having stats like these is concerning, but I guess vehicles are allowed to dominate, as long as they don’t belong to a specific nation. That is, if you ask forum specialists.

The T58 protection is underrated, I remember even the long barrel’s dm23 (>200mm angle) from type 69 doesn’t wanna pen the turret sleeves lol the same shot will go through the composite plates of T-55AM, clean

It has strong armor, especially against conventional AP rounds that can be often found in downtiers.
For it’s BR, T58 has some really nice gun handling as well that’s paired nicely with ridiculous reload speed (it reloads like 2-3x faster than average vehicle at that BR) and a nuke shell that only needs to hit your track to delete you.
Seems balanced.

Bruh it ain’t going to 9.0 anytime soon without it getting a unrealistic proper stabilizer and a auto range finder as most of 9.0 vehicles have both and better apfds/other rounds not to mention it’s filled with ifvs with good survival and nerfing it to make unrealistic and then arguing that gajin doesn’t even listen to official documents is wild because when they do this happens

Potentially but Some of those tanks have era (Potentially better than what’s found in 8.3) , auto rangefinders (like 9.0),better apfds compared to whats found in 8.3, some made to be snipers, stabilization (like 9.0), good/great mobility, atgm (like the it-1), smoke devices, night vision, and thermal imager (Potentially better than what’s found in 8.3)
