Haha like that matters
Well, at least it’s an expensive premium so we won’t see hoards of them everytime.
Still almost as OP as the BMPT. Its so comical how its a whole BR lower than it should be. Same with the M60 Rise
I see the T58’s situation as somewhat similar to the Object 279’s.They are complicated tanks to balance.
T-58 should still move up to 9.0.
No it shouldn’t it would be terrible to the team mates at 9.0 everything in 9.0 moves faster/rotate faster plus most tank have stab/laser range finder/apfds/nvds honestly yall just need to learn to treat like a king tiger 2 and shoot the barrel out
I love how a whole bunch of the people who defend this thing the hardest barely go positive or actually go negative in most of the tanks they play, yet they have around a 2 K/D in the T58.
Surely and totally screams balanced to me.
idk about you but i rather fight a t58 than a bmpt
For me the BMPTs are hella easy to deal with.
So I would rank both of them similarly.
Yes, but then the BR of the Object should also be increased, since it’s a tank that creates imbalance in BR 9.0, and that decides matches.
I believe that, to a large extent, the disastrous balancing of this game is the fault of the developers themselves and their obsession with CQC maps. Maps of, for example, 4km x 4km would offer infinitely more tactical options, giving even tanks with disadvantages a chance to do something, thanks to the player’s pure skill, and not simply because of the CQC map meta.
Idk, maybe I encountered only bad T58, but it’s not such a menace at 8.7. And I was encountering it while playing 7.7 and 8.3. As long as you know who you’re fighting it’s not that bad. While yea, If no one is looking it’s able to rock 5 kills in 15 seconds or so, very situational.
I think the 7.7-9.3 BR range just needs decompression. And a viable Heavy tanks for the Russian tech tree, like the 277/770.
In my experience the T58 walks all over everything short of a T64/72 and even then has a unusually good chance to win for a tank in a full uptier. And it fares far too well against the IS-4M and to a lesser extent T-10M Against the former I had al teast an 85% PK and the later atleast a 75% PK. Hell I had probably a 40% PK against T-72As and I am not even a good player.
One thing that could help the IS 3 and 4 would be APDS and a shorter reload, with the 3 moving back up to 7.7. Historically the D25T could be loaded in about 10 seconds according to Tank Archives.
I don’t really play other nations than the US and Russia to provide commentary on how to balance them sadly.
No, it wouldn’t be terrible as it already performs too good for 8.7.
Yeah it would be it would be a drag to most of it allies since it would be more common that a early Cold War project is what’s making them lose just because it can kill dosent mean it can do the objective or keep up plus just like how it got nerfed now soon or later yall gonna make a post to move it agian to 10.0 like I said just learn to treat like a king tiger 2 shoot the barrel/gun breech it muzzle is big enough to aim at with auto firing 25/30mm guns hell some of them can take out the gun beech as well hell you can shoot the upper turret check with heat and even apds round to take out 2 crew members and sometimes all three gun breech/2 crew members
Typical for this forum to be fair.
Lightly armoured vehicles are easy to kill with large calibre guns?? Oh no…
Considering how well it is performing at 8.7, I think moving it up to 9.0 is the only realistic way of putting T58 in it’s place.
So basically nothing can perform well in the game every thing must be a struggle pain and that whole thing you said sounds petty asf
Really depends on the competency of the BMPT player.
Really good ones can abuse the fact that it’s effectively immune hull-down in a lot of creative ways, and kill tanks like Abrams via ATGMs to the cupola / turret roof, or turret ring with APDS.
Whereas really good T58s effectively can’t be pushed unless you have two players and said two players are on opposite sides of it (because 40 degrees turret rotation speed allows it to kill one after the other, even if they’re coming from different angles).
I think ‘balanced’ is the correct term.
I don’t think you want to face the BMPT in a 10.3 lobby just like people don’t want to face the T58 in a 7.7 lobby. They are too good to be facing such vehicles.
Then again, not everything he says needs to be a ‘struggle pain’ since he isn’t advocating for things to be put in unreasonable BRs. It’s not like the BMPT at 11.7 would be unplayable… just like the T58 wouldn’t be unplayable at 9.0.
If he was saying the T58 should be moving to 9.3 / 9.7 then I would start agreeing with you.
