Somua, a premium vehicle for a minor nation still has comparable stats to T58, which is a premium for a major nation. So if former is ready to go to 8.0 then latter should be going to 9.0 at a minimum.
About Ho-Ri Production, I’d want to see it removed and/or placed at the BR where it’s actually subpar (the same applies for other fiction too).
Also, if Somua moves up, then Maus should as well.
Sure there may be a greater proportion of inexperienced players using the T58 than the Somua just because the T58 is a major nation premium, but the Somua has a slightly larger sample size and has a higher average KPS and the T58 hasn’t gone on sale yet (so only a certain few got it).
I think T58 at 9.0 would be fair enough, but we could see if there needs to be any further changes.
I think Somua would be fine at 8.0, and possibly the Lorraine 40t, Maus and E-100.
IS-4M (basically a side-grade to IS-6) too if they decide to buff its reload from ~20.4 to maybe 15s/16s.
Same with the Conqueror (from ~14.9s to ~12.5s)
I think all vehicles (regardless of their authenticity) should be viable. Subpar is a little too extreme in my opinion.
But if that’s impossible then it’s always better for match balance to have a vehicle (that only a certain few have access to) to be subpar than overpowered.
A rare subpar vehicle would only affect the players who have it whereas a rare OP vehicle would affect everyone in a match.
Indeed.
Turm III still being 8.3 is wild.
And the PZH2000 being 7.7 too.
It’s not only that, minor nation premiums tend to do better than minor TT vehicles which definitely is boosting the stats on Somua even more.
If it was in the US as a premium, I’m confident it’d have worse stats than T58 has currently.
Most of the French 7.7 is really good, so them going up wouldn’t really surprise me.
Maus definitely has to go up as well too, it’s been performing too good for too long.
I think being on the worse side of any given BR is still much better than being completely deleted from the game files.
Turm III at 8.3 is just filthy.
I’m also amazed how more people aren’t talking about it’s problem as well.
So you’re upset it’ll be hard to play against 10.0s but it’s all fine if T58 continues to smash 7.7s ?
It’s simply too strong at 8.7 and should be moving up.
Ok, I hate to be that guy but if you fail to kill the t58, then thats a skill issue. Sure it has a menacing gun but everything has a con and its armor and replenish rate(unlike bmpt).
“Its called an up tier” but those tanks can still kill it since it has the same hull as the m103 --same br (7.7)
If you have a hard time against this you got skill problem. I’ve got killed by one of these, I have killed some tho. Shoot the hull or the gun too eazy. PPL bring it up BR because HESH and HE Overpressure.
Not really. There are also heavy tanks with just okay armor and great firepower. Just because a heavy tank only has okay armor doesn’t automatically make it balanced.
I think the 76 one is better due to not having a first stage, having a better reload (5.9s compared to 7.5s), and has a stabilizer. It’s also a lower BR so it doesn’t have to face tougher opponents, and gets to face 4.3s.
Yeah uptiers were quite difficult from what I remember, however the 90mm is amazing if it pens and you still have the excellent reverse gear to back off. Maybe one day I’ll go back to start spading the low tier US vehicles like the T1E1. But the point mainly is that heavies can be good without excellent armor indeed.
Most of the time, to destroy a tank you have to fake it and hit it from the side. I wonder what you do when you’re playing with an M15/42, M14/41, M13/40 and you find yourself facing an M4A3 (105), a vehicle completely impenetrable by its frontal armor despite not being a heavy tank, but gaijin refuses to lower the BR of the Italian M15/42, M14/41, and M13/40 tanks.
Instead of complaining, you should learn to flank the enemy. If it works for Italian players, it works for all other players too.
