In reflection to the T58 being added with its historical autoloader speed, how come the T54E1 (another oscillating turret prototype, but this one is on the M48 chassis) has a nerfed reload rate? 5 seconds per round or 12 RPM when the real thing could operate up to 35 RPM or 1.7 seconds per round? I’ve looked everywhere for any sources on the tank itself, but the only ones I have found related directly to the T54E1 and its capabilities are R.P. Hunnicutt’s Patton book, and The Chieftain’s video on American autoloaders, of which I’m 90% certain he referenced the Patton book but didn’t list any sources proving otherwise. The almighty snail says my one source (patton book) Isn’t enough to disprove their in game stats, so does anyone have any ideas or sources I haven’t found yet? Thanks in advance!
