T32 heavy tank

Hi, I’d like to ask why the T32 heavy tank has APHE ammunition when it actually never had it.

And why do think it never had it?

I think WT gives tanks ammo as long as the gun they had could fire the ammo.

check the document… never use this ammo shell

The T32 did use the M41 round, and this document does show that, although under the original M82 designation, as M41 was a modified M82 round, to be fitted in the T15 cannon.

the T41 (T50) round is a higher velocity M82

Well funny enough the T50 was a further improvement of the M82 round for the T15 cannon, with the earlier improved M41 later being scrapped, this is why it has a different designation, actually having better performance, but we just have the earlier M41 round instead

yea, but why use aphe ammo if he never had it :|

But it did have APHE?

in game it have aphe

Yeah, and IRL it did too

document says otherwise, do you have any other proof?

The US Army never had a designation for APHE rounds. The T41 was designated APCBC, and was a modified version of the M82 APC. Not everything is wt bro.

what document? tank archives is not a reliable source

the t15e2 gun (the one used in the t32) can fite aphe

I’ve been saying the whole time that they didn’t have any fuse in the cartridge… but in the game, they just have one

what? what fuse? the t41 round is a m82 round at its core, it has the same fuse and all

BUT why in game have fuse ??

i have no idea what you are trying to tell me xD

Where in the document does it specify? Also here are the documents of proof ADA954868 Comparative Effectiveness of Armor Defeating Ammunition , AD301343 AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF DATA ON ARMOR PENETRATION BY TANK-FIRED, KINETIC ENERGY PROJECTILES, these specify the testing of the rounds, such as T50 (also known as T41, M82).
