mantlet, machinegun port, commanders hatch, gun.
Limiting frontal capabilities is a way to nerf a tank. Short 90 is still better than the long ones in reload, which can give far better flanking kill rates and mistake tolerances
i find it weird that tiger II stays at 6.7 while T26E5 which only have good armor the gun is not good against other compare to tiger II
leave the T26E5 at 6.7 i don’t understand why they change it.
this tank from battle pass have T29 gun at 6.7 br with good turret armor

This is for Arcade btw. The tiger 2 is also at 7.0 in arcade.
If this was in realistic, then I’d have an issue with it unless all other 6.7 (except for the IS2) goes up as well
Not event the lfp? Damn.
This was a monster to 5.7s - 6.7 in fat it was unfair.
7.0 is what is deserves.
Also It’s 90mm APCR can frontally pen a Maus… so you can kill a Tiger Ii
You can use APHE on the gun sight with the 90mm M3 it’s only 150mm
Yeah.
But that’s what I mean, the T26E5 / T30 / T34 / T29 all need to go up a br step. They’re too good where they are now.
Add to this list btw:
I love the E1, but don’t ever talk about its armour again.
And no, that’s not the cupola. There is a weak flat spot on the turret face. I still enjoy playing the vehicle, but if the enemy knows those spots you’re in trouble unless you delete them first.
As for OP, E5 is super strong, but it’s not even going up in RB so this topic is a non-starter.
WHAT?! When did they add this? WHY? Its one only similar to performance of King Tiger on the US side! WTF is wrong with Gaijin again?
Tiger 2 is one strongets tanks of 6.7 for 15 years, didnt see any br changes. But the kick in the balls of USSR mains did occur when IS-2 somehow became SO OP at 6.3 so it was moved to King tiger level. thats BS completely. T26E5 is one great tank but its not better than King Tiger. Should never move.
It’s only going up in arcade, and will be equal to the Tiger II H which is also 7.0 there.
For RB, neither should move until we get decompression.
Ah so that may be the reason i didnt notice that change. If its like that, it is only natural then.
It should be never ever be allowd to put ww2 era tanks, in a br of 7.0-7.3, without a complete br change, as it will not do well. (yes uptir is likly to happen, a 180mm pen is not goign to do anything against is4m)
exactly why they moved them M60s and Leopard 1s to 8.0, yes
i mean technically you can with APCR.
Its best to take different shells for different targets (when your tank actually has options)
I dont think it should be moved up unless the tiger 2 also gets moved up
lowk I didn’t even realize it was arcade, mb
I didn’t even realize lowk
Well, that 7.0 change applies to Arcade, not Realistic Battles.
But if the T26E5 ever gets a BR change high enough to a point where it may need a better shell in the future,
It apparently did at a time, test and fire the T108 (also called M348) HEAT-FS. Which was the same shell fired from the M46 Patton and M36B2 Jackson.
IMO, the T26E5 doesn’t need this shell at the moment, unless it ever moves to like 7.3-7.7. which is super unlikely.
I was going to go “NO NO NO YOU MONSTERS WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO MEEeeeeee…”
But then I see that it’s an arcade change.
I now never play Ground AB, so I couldn’t care less.
However, the idea of up-BRing the T26E5 is extremely unnecessary. There is already a TON of anti-American bias in the game. Moving a decent tank up to where its gun, mobility, and armor are routinely useless is nothing more than a cruel, sadistic, and wasteful move.
Unlike the BMPT, the T26E5 is not overpowered, and does not need to be messed up.
