T-90S Bhishma - a sealclubbing T-90A or an uptiered T-72B?

T-90A has outstanding turret protection, remember that it’s actually flat when you are pointing your barrel at the enemy direction, if you turn the turret a tiny bit to the side between shots then it will have even more effective armor. Only issues is finding a good spot to do this hull down, if you manage to park it in a way so you can lower your gun enough to shoot, then this thing can trade fire with anything. I have since discovered a lot of spots that I could just sit there and snipe and only exposed turret to the enemies, I’ve gotten more kills per spawn and less death, won’t go this far if it weren’t for how cool this tank looks lol

What’s also funny is that the T-90S gets a dozer without any weight increase. İt’s literally a better T-90A with better armour and lower BR

I made a bug report about this, saying that it should get a weight increase, gaijin closed my report because it had no “sources”

The source is brain and logic. Same tank + dozer = heavier than just tank

Possibly a dumb question but is it better to enable to disable the self entrenching blade?

Enabling it gets rid of the mine sweeping tool on the front, which has no functionality, but does provide 20-40mm of structural steel armor. That’s not much but at the weird angles it forms it can cause some volumetric shenanigans.

Meanwhile the entrenching blade does have functionality, but its not something most players, myself included, actually use. It only provides 20mm of structural steel armor over the LFP at a flat angle.

Unless I’m missing something it would seem that its better not to enable the entrenching blade if you don’t plan on making use of the entrenching function since the mine sweeping tool provides more armor.

disable I bet, armor > entrenching, which is horrible with T-72’s reverse speed. Won’t protect well from ATGM or APFSDS often, but I bet it would affect HEAT shells from novices of modern battles
