In game they are T-90M eat AGM-65s
Why have an APS system if your armour isnt at risk?
Or maybe this APS system will lead to Gaijin modeling Russian ERA correctly…Ha ha

Hope it get’s a tier 4 obr.2025 ugrade ( like the UBH for the T-72B3 ) with Relikt UFP and the full updated package of ERA . It would be silly otherwise .
I’m sure in 7-8 years Gaijin will introduce him into the game. When he will be useless.
Is it?
What makes you think a T-90M with Relikt could not withstand an AGM-65 ? It all depends where and how it hits …
I am afraid you are confused on many things and you try to derive conclusions out of all this confusion.
Again additional layers of defence doesn’t mean that the pre-existing layers were bad … or does in your own logic the fact of M1 SepV3 adopting Trophy APS means that the base armor could not withstand RPG-7 ? I hope you see why what you are trying to conclude makes no sense whatsoever .
You are right on one point. Relikt might need some remodeling but that stands true for all ERA in the game as giving them fixed values of protection is blatantly wrong.
Thing is im not sure those changes would go into the direction that you have in mind as Relikt is vastly underperforming against most KE and CE threats in the game !
Alas that is not a discution for this thread so i will leave it here .
Do your eyes have a problem? Not anything from the Reddit is true, my guys.
No it doesnt sorry stop believing this game. There is countless footage of T-90M catastrophically detonating from atgms and fpv drones.
In game Russian tanks do not need an APS system as the Relikt ERA is a catch all system.
RPG-7s are not a threat to modern MBTs even Challenger 2s laughable armour can handle an RPG-7
Reject T-72B3
Embrace T-72B2
As there is countless of footage of T-90M surviving multiple HEAT stikes or even Javelin …
Again don’t take your personal bias for a fact , there is no black and white , results depend on circumstances , so unless you have detailed reports on each of those cases there is nothing you can conclude about them .
I have no bias, what I’m very much against is Gaijin claiming NERA armour used on NATO tanks offering the protection value of rubber.
But 2 plates sandwiched together offer incredible performance for KE and CE…
T-72B2MA XD
B2 : Relikt UFP
M : Modernised ERA package
A : Active protection .
That would be amazing to see, and quite hilarious.
At this point though, the T-90M is the successor to the T-72B2… And, yknow…
Its interesting. Don’t really have a place for it in any lineups, but it is neat to see
Yeah it comes close to a T-90M with Arena-M at that point but it will be silly to leave it naked and since they can no longer give it the UBH package i supect they will give it an obr.2025 package .
I know fully well that anything in the internet is not always real
No way! That’s sick! I’m really curious to see the APS in action in-game. It’s quite unique.
Edit: Yup its here.
Honestly, the best version of the APS is the British Challenger 2 Black Knight since it can shoot down APFSDS-T at range, missiles, etc. We’ll get the Challenger 3 production with ERA, APS, and more eventually. Same goes for Israel, new batches of Merkava with improved APS and vehicles like the Eitan or Sabrah with APS, its going to be fine. APS will be available for everyone.
Yes it will but the CR2 BN is just a CR2…APS system is what makes it unique.
Giving great tanks like a 2A7 (2A8) or a T-90M or even an M1A2 SEP V3
makes the Merkava, CR2/3 and others even less relevant.
I have zero hope for the CR3 and it’s brand new classified armour, after they crapped all over the CR3 TD. Gaijin don’t care if it’s good or not.
We have seen this the best tanks power creep the rest and then strip them of their unique features.
CR2 had a 4.5 second reload made it good to brawl with, now it’s 5 seconds for 4 rounds then 6.5 seconds.
The Challenger 3 production is significantly different from the TD that we have. The TD lacks the new armor and other features to be brought on with the production model.
The Challenger 2 Black Knight has a LWS, updated CITV, and its Iron-Fist APS which is a pretty significant upgrade to the base Challenger 2. Sure it has the same armor but that APS has saved me quite a bit against both Ka-52’s and APFSDS-T on large maps.
I think you’re coming to quick to judge something that even isn’t in-game yet. The Merkava and Challenger both have there issues but so does other tanks like the SEPv1/2, etc. The same issues will likely arise for the M1A2 SEPv3 along with the production Challenger 3 for armor, etc. As for the T-72B3A, the APS is quite different, we won’t know how it will perform until the Devserver drops then you could be surprised.
