Hello lads
I’ll start off with the armor specifications, this is what i could find:
" The T-70 was armed with a 45-mm L/46 gun Model 38 with forty-five rounds carried, and a [coaxial] 7.62-mm [DT machine gun]. The tank was operated by a driver and a commander who loaded and fired the gun. Armour thickness on the turret front was 60 mm, turret sides and rear: 35 mm, hull front and sides: 45 mm, roof and bottom: 10 mm."
Now for the engine:
considering in-game we see the T-70M (as in the early production T-70 getting it’s stupid 1 engine on each side of the tank to 2 engines streamlined in the right side and a normal transmission) maybe it’s the 2 x GAZ-202 engines with 70HP each, making it the early variant in production, and for the T-80 (the 2.3 one) it has the GAZ-203 engines because it has 170 HP (85 + 85)
The T-70M (Late) premium could look like this
Interesting thought, the T-80 light tank was the last hurrah of light tanks in the soviet army before they stopped all production due to the T-34 and Su-76M filling all the roles those light tanks were supposed to do, in the end of the day there was 120 T-80 light tanks made before that, in comparison to the much larger production of the late T-70M with the engine upgrades and the mk.4 periscope for the driver and commander, technically the T-80 should’ve been a premium lol
Anyway, please feel free to discuss about this and if possible confirm my sources
