T-69 IIG missing one of it’s coaxial gun

You can clearly see a slot/hole(covered) for the second coaxial MG. In Victory day parade officials said that this tank has 2 coaxial MGs and one anti air HMG.

T-69 IIG’s predecessor T-69 IIM clearly had 2 guns. All Bangladeshi T-69 IIMs were later upgraded into T-69 IIG.

I think gaijin should add the second MG as a modification.

That is the hole for the shooter’s sight, as in that Type 69 a better sight was added, that hole was blocked.

That second, covered hole is the original place of the gunner’s telescopic sight, not an MG port. When the new ISFCS-212 was added, the old optical sight was removed, similar to tanks like the ZTZ88B.

The second MG is the fixed machine gun in the hull for the driver, which was a feature on all T-54s, early T-55s, and all Chinese Type 59/69/79 tanks.

Where was it attached? In front of the driver’s viewport?

It’s placed in the center of the hull, to the driver’s right. On the T-69 IIG it has a cutout in the hull ERA to allow it to shoot
