T-2 engines wont turn back on after accidental turn off

When you press I (my keybind for turning on/off the engine) in the T-2, it refuses to restart and turn back on, leaving you gliding slowly to your death while frustratingly waiting to see if the engine will restart. Engine will occasionally make noise, and will even throttle up and down from 0% to 110% but nothing will restart them. Any advice? Is this a bug?

I just had the same thing happen to me

Not a solution to the issue of the engine not coming back on, but to avoid accidental engine turn-offs I’d recommend setting the ignition to be something like Alt-I or some other two-key combination. (Or if you want to stick with 1 key then make it some key in a position of your keyboard that you don’t really use much for the battle)

I don’t have the T-2 so i can’t test it myself, but i know some planes have a SUPER slow engine startup so you might be turning it on/off to quickly while trying to restart it.
If not and there really is an issue then you can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)
