Yeah I noticed that with my T-72B3 obr. 2016 (Arena-M)/T-72B3A suggestion. I didn’t know much about the tarp but then got google slammed about it when I looked it up for the suggestion.

like it is an unique vehicle, historically important and has been used
there can be reasons to delay it as it may be too strong or maybe we need info to come out but eventually it MUST be added

Define use here. There is no real proof it was in a certain region at any point.

If I to make a guess it either one of three:
- There’s enough Soviet tanks (will vote YES for any advanced WESTFOR tank tho)
- Too early for this (will vote NO for any advanced/modern tank)
- Still meme/cope about it low production numbers and lackluster public performance (they still stuck on “Jajaja, look at ruskies! Their oh so advanced tank broke right on parada, jajaja!”)

- we already have tonnes of leopard 2s and m1 abrams
- too early makes sense but we have to add it some time
- war thunder has tonnes of tanks that have lackluster performance, the stats are just if they performed at the most ideal
if war thunder tanks performed like IRL, the game would be unplayable

Pretty sure there’s only a few tens of them made. I mean it’s still plenty enough to add the vehicle. I voted yes, but it shouldn’t come until everything else gets filled out for other nations (vehicles with APS) as well as vehicles like the T-90M and the T-72B3A with Arena-M being added first.
It honestly would be worse than most of our current top tier if added. The Turret has no composites in it at all. The hull armor isn’t super thick either. It mostly relies on ERA.
The front plate is entirely reliant on Monolith ERA.

That’s fair, we’re not terribly far away from this vehicle. I just worry more on the APS part, getting more vehicles with APS in-game first.
To be honest, if they’d correct a lot of Top Tier vehicles like the Merkava Mk.4, the Armata could actually be added now.

Whether it’s used in combat or not doesn’t matter. If it’s a functioning prototype with offensive capability (minimum standard), it can be added. It should come to the game at some point. Other nations do have capabilities of countering it whether it’s a new tank or an APFSDS-T round with anti-era tip…or a Bradley peppering the turret.
Edit: I think people underestimate that as well. New modules like electronics, power supplies, etc. in the turret are gonna be the Achilles heel of this thing since the turret has limited armor. Also, having a crew member instead may be more beneficial because at least if the Gunner is knocked out the Commander can take over rather than having to wait a while for repairs. Overall it should be pretty easy to disable the weapons on the vehicle with sub-caliber munitions. We’ll have to see what happens.

Bro, do you have any information about the hull armor of the T-14? This looks funny, since the T-14 is a secret tank.
But the turret armor should be weak, but the Afghanit APS should theoretically intercept APFSDS.

Age old discussion, strikeshield should intercept apfsds as welly but it doesnt.
Its not a thing in war thunder, simple as that
